Colts will be trying to do something for the first time since the 1999 Titans

The last team to beat a division rival on the road in the regular season and then win a playoff game against them on the road was the 1999 Titans who beat the division leader Jaguars on the road 20-19 and then won the AFCCG 33-14. They lost to the Rams by a yard in the SB.

 

In essence, the Colts will be trying to do something that has not been done for about 19 years.

Interesting fact. Let's hope the Colts pull off a Super Bowl run as well. I really believe that this year any team in the playoffs has a legitimate shot at actually winning the Super Bowl.

We're trying to do something that hasn't been done in 8 years-win the Super Bowl as a 6th seed.

Yep.  Keeping Luck upright, while knocking down Watson are basically the keys to the game.  Stats are in our favor for both of those factors.  Unfortunately, stats don't play the game.

I was at that 1999 playoff game against the Titans and it seemed like the RCA dome was more Titans fans than Colts fans that day. Times have changed.
