Blake is 7 of 11 for 29 yards.

That's hard to do:dunno:

It's almost Kessler time!

You can only put so much Febreze on trash, it’s going to smell eventually :)

Geez, is Hyde really that slow?  Did he ever finish his 40 or is he still trying to finish it??  He is S-L-O-W!

Yeah, my first thought was "glad we didn't sign him."

There was a reason the Browns were eager to move on, he is just goal line material at this point in his career

I can't imagine being a Jags fan.  One day of it is bad enough.  Lol

Of the 5 rookie QBs starting....Baker is the only one who's proven anything, right?

Prett much. Josh Allen has come along better after his injury break, being able to observe from the sidelines because of his rushing, however his passing still stinks. Lamar Jackson, If his passing improves, has the ability to be second best out of the first round QBs, IMO

What hurts is that they put a lot of money into that defense

Allen has a lot of swagger....but he reminds me of Osweiler….

I think the fact that Lamar is 5-1 as a starter….is more coincidence than anything else.

Even if its not, the way he plays is not sustainable in the NFL

Sam Darnold is OK for a rookie on a losing team

Josh Rosen is a Major disappointment

What hurts is that they invested ANYTHING in Bortles.  They need a QB to turn this thing around.  It wouldn't really take much.

They can cut him any time...They have to pay him but they don't have to play him.

As odd as it seems, Jax is still somewhat "in" this game.  I don't think the Texans are really trying, but if Jax gets a lucky score things could actually get interesting.

Okay, okay...so I can dream

Now looking forward to the Browns beating the Ravens.  GOOOOO BROWNS!!!

Every Bortles pass is like pure comedy gold :)

Yeah they need a new QB, however they need to keep Bortles as a backup and play him twice a year vs the Colts since he looks like Patrick Mahomes when they play.

Man, I'm surprised Watson didn't get perma injured this game.  He's just been getting the snot knocked out of him.

If jags had any kind of offense they would be a very good team.

Who would of thought not taking the tie in the first Houston game might cost us the division and maybe a playoff spot.

I hope that's who we play next week..

Sooner or later he'll end up like Carson Wentz if he keeps doing this with that oline.

If we win, we will. We would be 1-5 to 10-6, not too shabby either

Yeah I think it’s kind of a combination of what we used to see here, bad OL play but Watson holds the ball way too long and I feel they run a lot of 5-7 step drop backs.

It's all good. We just need to take care of business tonight so we can play them next week. It was wishful thinking to think stinky Blake could beat Houston.

Yeah, there was just no way in hell we were gonna lose to Blake Bortles at home. Maybe we’ll see you guys for a third match next week..

I agree, I see no way Houston can win in Gillette. They can't score enough.

    • Another NFL Preseason Game Night, Colts fans!    A battle of  0-2  teams  seeking their first win in the 2019 NFL preseason play in Circle City, as the Chicago Bears come south on Interstate 65,  to play our Indianapolis Colts in both teams preseason meeting in four years.    Chad Kelly and Phillip Walker are the only other Colts quarterbacks available,  both listed in the training camp roster, and the team depth chart, probably available to play tonight, since neither Jacoby Brissett or Andrew Luck will play the rest of the preseason.   Current Bears Defensive Coordinator Chuck Pagano also returns to Indianapolis, where was the Colts Head Coach from 2012-2017.   Indianapolis and Chicago are playing their 16th all-time preseason game, with the Colts leading the all-time preseason series between the teams at 9-5-1.  Colts defeated the Bears in their last game, and visit to Indianapolis by the score of 23-11 back on August 22, 2015.   Indianapolis also  currently leads the all-time regular season series at 23-11, including  winning Super Bowl XLI over the Bears, their only playoff win  over Chicago.  Colts also defeated the Bears, winning 29-23, during both teams last regular season meeting also played at Lucas Oil Stadium (the building),  back on October 9, 2016.   Colts may play the Bears at Soldier Field, when the AFC South teams play the NFC North teams during interdivisional play in the 2020 NFL regular season.   Colts defeated the Bears  29-17 in Super Bowl XLI, during  the rainy, and then-named at the time, Dolphins Stadium At Miami Gardens, back on February 4, 2007.   The 2006 Colts team that finished 12-4 during the regular season were lead by  Head Coach Tony Dungy, and Super Bowl XLI MVP  QB Peyton Manning.   LOS's retractable roof might be open for tonight's 7:05 PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, because the local gamecast around the stadium area is 75 degrees, 0% precipitation, 52% humidity, and  east/northeast winds at 11 miles per hour.   Great luck to all the Colts and Bears players, especially the backup players and reserves, as they continue to audition during their  training bears-week-3-camp, and the preseason games, on trying to make the cut to the final 53.   NO injuries, GO Blue Horseshoe, Win Your First Preseason Game, And Home Game In Your 2019 NFL Season, and LET'S GO COLTS!!!!!                 .    https://colts.com/news/bears-week-3-preseason-preview   https://colts.com/game-day/2019/pre/bears-at-colts/   https://nfl.com/gamecenter/2019082452/2019/PRE3/bears@colts   https://indystar.com/sports/colts   https://chicagobears.com/news/pagano-expects-an-emotional-return-to-Indy
    • Tom Brady wanted to trademark the nickname "Tom Terrific".    He lost.  The US Patent and Trademark office rejected Brady's request to trademark the term. Brady says he was trying to protect Tom Seaver's nickname. Lolol. Spare me, Brady.    “Has anyone ever even called him ‘Tom Terrific’?” Mr. Talansky said. “Was ‘Vainglorious Cheater’ already trademarked?”   Tom Brady Is No ‘Tom Terrific.’ Any New Yorker Can Tell You That. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/08/23/nyregion/tom-brady-seaver-terrific.html
    • Bummer that all the starters are out! I’m going with a group of friends, including some Bears fans(Boo!). Alot of people on here saying they feel bad for people going and that it’s too much money to go watch scrubs....Going to a game at Lucas is more then just watching the game. It’s about tailgating, hanging out with good friends and having a good time, razzing the opposing teams fans, all in fun of course, and also hanging out with fellow bleed blue colts fans! Same reason I went to watch the Cubs even during the bad years, the atmosphere and fans were awesome no matter what. I don’t really mind watching the second and third stringers fighting for their futures.    As far as price, I got a pretty good seat for $48, so can’t complain. It’s going to be a fun day no matter what, not going in with high expectations like I do during regular season.
    • Well, you are rounding into mid-season form early this year. Good Job
    • Walker did look much better last game compared to week 1, so props to him. Still, no comparison to CK. I had mixed emotions about bringing CK in, but now I really hope things work out. He looks "in command" and has a nice rhythm to his game. And he can make all the passes and has wheels.     I know it's only 2 preseason games, but I can understand now why Elway made him QB2 in Denver. It'll make parting with JB much easier.    IF he can keep his head on straight/.
