The AFC playoffs?

What in world is going on??

 

The chiefs don't want the 1 seed it seems.

The Patriots stumbled to the 2 seed..they have gone back to 2001

The Texans are in danger after losing to the eagles

The Ravens actually look good.

The Chargers just got handled at home..

The Colts/Titains are trying to come in hot

 

This is probably the most unpredictable AFC bracket in years... I just hope to God those Pats don't host yet another AFC championship game..  but the chiefs just don't look confident anymore..

We will see how it goes. Sometimes, a team wins early on in the season, loses a few close ones and comes back in the playoffs to remind everyone how good it was to begin with.

 

All of Chiefs losses have been 1 score games (Patriots, Rams, Chargers, Seahawks), so they were in all those games and it will only help them learn to win as a young team down the road. It is still a quality team but with holes on D that can be exploited.

It's wide open, we even have a chance to go to the Final 4. I hate to say it, I still think the Pats are the team to beat but they are more beatable than usual. I do not trust the Chiefs, Andy Reid chokes alot. Rivers usually has a bad game in the Playoffs too regarding the Chargers.

When the last time going into week 17 every single AFC playoff team has something to play for and no one will be resting their starters.

Looks like Mahomes wants them to lol. I think 4 times in Prime Time he's had a chance to hammer the nail in the coffin of HFA for the Pats and he's failed every time.

If the Colts get in as the '6'\

They get a matchup at Houston...a game where they have at least a 50-50 chance, I would say.

 

Then they'd play the '1', which I assume will be KC.

But, like aaron says, the Chiefs aren't the same without Hunt...

,,and KC has a (let's just say) average defense

 

...then they'd travel to NE, Baltimore or San Diego for the AFC title game.

 

That path, if it comes to be,  does not seem impossible .

In one game, we can end up anywhere from the 3rd seed....to out of the playoffs.

This is what the NFL wanted. They couldn’t of asked for anything better. The fact we get a win and your in with the colts titans the league has to be loving it. That hasnt the last game of the season with two teams in a long time.

I haven't heard as much about expansion of the playoffs lately..

I think 12 teams and 4 byes is perfect

If the Titans beat the Colts AND

Jacksonville beats Houston AND

The Jets beat New England AND

Cleveland beats Baltimore.

And they have Andy Reid. The odds are simply not in their favor.
