Geathers Out Walker Questionable

I think Walker has played great this year and he will be missed.

 

But I think, if Walker is out, Adams will take his snaps and he will do fine.

 

It won't matter much anyways with DL getting 40 tackles this week

I think it's worth taking a minute to appreciate how healthy we actually are based on being in week 16. 

 

Aside from a few players (Doyle in particular) we are actually in a really good position in my opinion.

If it means Walker will be fully healthy against the Titans, then so be it.

Seems like Mitchell may return, so Geathers is not a huge loss.

But Walker would be a key defender in stopping Saquon Barkley. Hoping he plays.

If not, who is Walkers replacement???

He’s literally a poor mans Bob Sanders. But he ain’t no where near the level of Bob sanders talent wise. He’s got the injury proneness down though

Walker dove with one arm fully extended for Zeke on one play and got up slowly shaking out his arm. I figured he screwed up his shoulder at the time, but he stayed in. 

Probably started flaring up afterwards. Hopefully he didn't tear his labrum or anything serious.

Really stinks that we have these players out this week. Between Woods to IR and them, we have taken a big hit to our run defence.

I'm not overly concerned about the injuries.

Doyle out - Allie Cox did a great job blocking last week. He will only get better.

Kelly out - Boehm fills in nicely. Not at the same level, but enough to hold the fort.

Glowinski out - Haeg plays and we don't miss a beat.

Geathers out - Mitchell will do the job. He has already shown it.

Woods out - We have several guys who are more than capable of doing the job.

Walker out - I like Adams, but I this is one spot we will will likely see a drop off.

 

Bottom line, Ballard has added quality depth at many positions.

 

Edit: Yes, I am aware that Kelly and Glowinski are not out this week.

Bob Saunders my fav Colts of all time.  I do think that being so juiced up had a definite affect on  him being injured so much.  Can't prove it; just an observation based on his ridiculous muscle mass.
