Colts Vs. Cowboys Game Day Thread

Hi, Colts Nation!   Great win and 24-21 upset by our Indianapolis Colts last Sunday at Houston.  Our 7-6 Colts are back in both the friendly confines, and local fan support of the Blue Horseshoe Nation inside the real Lucas Oil Stadium, as they host the 8-5 and NFC East leading Dallas Cowboys.

Cowboys are playing a regular season road game in Indianapolis in eight years.  But Indianapolis is  also attempting to end their three-game regular season losing streak since 2002 to Dallas, not defeating the Cowboys on a regular season game in 16 years, ans defeat the Cowboys since the Colts started playing their games at LOS since 2009.

Colts are also playing their last two home games of the 2018 NFL Regular Season hosting consecutive NFC East interdivisional opponents, they Cowboys this Sunday afternoon, and later the New York football Giants in the home season finale at LOS, Next Sunday, December 23.

Dallas Cowboys have been the most progressive and advanced team in the past six weeks, since they came back from their Week 8 bye week, to lose to the Tennessee Titans 28-14 on Monday Night Football back on November 5.

Since that date, the Cowboys are at their present five-game winning streak two developments have favored the Cowboys, notably acquiring WR Amari Cooper, replacing Dez Bryant at WR before the trade deadline in late October, and the Redskins losing their last four regular season games, after losing both  Redskins QB's  Alex Smith  and Colt McCoy the rest of this season  and on injured reserve, and the instability of Mark Sanchez and Josh Johnson.

Indianapolis is also avenging their 42-7 loss to Dallas in both teams last regular season meeting played at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, back on December 21, 2014.  Dallas lead most of that game 42-0, until Colts QB Matt Hasselbeck avoided the shutout, throwing his 1-yard TD pass to Zurlon Tipton, plus Adam Vinetieri's PAT, with 4:26 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Dallas also leads the all-time regular series at 10-6-0, in this afternoon's 17th meeting.

Today's Colts Vs. Cowboys game is also  the marquee regional  single header game seen in the majority of the USA  for The NFL On FOX, with Kevin Burkhardt and Charles Davis doing the live TV game commentary, along with sideline reporter and interviewer Pam Oliver, and seen regionally, and locally on WXIN FOX Channel 59, live on HD.

Colts and LOS's building management  will still  leave the  retractable roof closed for this afternoon's 1:05 PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, because there will be sunny skies, but still cold around the stadium area at 47 degrees, feels like 44 degrees, along with 0% precipitation, 71% humidity, and western winds at 7 miles per hour.

Head Linesman Carl Cheffers leads his NFL Officiating Crew, to supervise the game action in the LOS playing field this afternoon.

NO injuries, Win your First Home Game Over The Cowboys At The Real LOS, Stay In The Hunt For The Upcoming NFL Playoffs, And Keep Pace With The Houston Texans For The AFC South Lead, And LET'S GO COLTS!!!!!

Cowboys fans always travel well. When I went to the 1999 game I would say 40% of the crowd was pro Dallas. Marvin burned Deion and we won . Just have to shut them up again.

Cowboys fans are like cockroaches... especially when they are winning. They come out of the woodwork all over America.

There are fans like this in Australia.

Funnily enough, also supporters of teams with huge fanbases that only let their fans down.

Hello fellow colts fans (and foes). Hope everyone is having an excellent Sunday and that you all are looking forward to the game! I’m excited for this game as our drive to the playoffs are still alive as long as we first and foremost take care of business by beating the ‘boys.

I wished I could watch this live today but I’ll wait until game pass is available later to watch the game. Enjoy the game people and go Colts! No injuries on either side of the ball or either team!

Nelson is pretty big in Indy from what I hear.

They were doing hand drill and it looked like Nelson was getting his younger brother ready. Like he didnt really want him to play but mom said that he had to let him play too.

Weight: 196. 40 Time: 4.33   Forget about sneed  we got this kid right here will save money and lock up a young corner.  If we were Super Bowl contenders I’d say go after sneed .    SouthCarolina_logo.gif.bmp  Xaiver Legette, WR, South Carolina  Height: 6-3. Weight: 227. Projected 40 Time: 4.39   Big strong fast wideout can bully corners and free up Pittman.    Miami_logo.gif.bmp  Kamren Kinchens*, S, Miami  Height: 5-11. Weight: 203. 40 Time: 4.65.   40 time may cause him to slide we have to jump on that pick .The guy is everywhere true ball hawk . If he ran a fast 40 he’s a 1st rounder. Similar to last year Antonio Johnson on the jags he ran like a 4.53 an dropped . I wanted Johnson last year on the colts . Anyhow his production may out weigh his combine .     Theo Johnson, TE, Penn State  Height: 6-6. Weight: 257.  Projected 40 Time: 4.57   The kids a freak Athlete  he didn’t get much action but when he did he delivered . We’d be lucky to snag him in the 4th   Clemson_logo.gif.bmp  Will Shipley*, RB, Clemson  Height: 5-10. Weight: 205. 40 Time: 4.39.   Would be great change of pace guy . In a running back backend of the draft he might get lost in the shuffle if not someone else will be there .        Troy_logo.gif.bmp  Javon Solomon, DE, Troy  Height: 6-1. Weight: 247. 40 Time: 4.72.   He does one thing pass rush . Great on special teams and situational 3rd down working him in to a rotation
    • Was never suggesting we sign either one. Just throwing out info on two former Colts. Cheers!
