Skip Clueless Prescot > Luck

This genuinely cracked me up. There is no way he genuinely believes what he is saying, you can tell by his sheepish smile and clear use of logical fallacies that even Shannon Sharpe is able to pick out lol. This is about ratings and portraying a character.

1.Before they were drafted, Bayless said RG3 would be better than Luck. Hes not necessarily an * for sayong that but ever since then, he constantly puts Luck down with contorted, illogical critiques like this comparison w Prescott. He's an *.

2.  Bayless is actually not an * he's a genius for figuring out how to get paid $4M a year by talking about sports while being irritating and spouting stupid crap.  Every time we get upset or post about him, he basically wins- attention seeking jerks only lose when we ignore them.

3. After Luck wins his first Super Bowl MVP, whenever that happens and it will happen, Bayless will harp on the interception Luck threw, and show he doesn't have a classy bone in his body.

Luck could win a SB putting up 40 Points but Skip would say he won because of his Defense lmao

Luck and the Offense better get their crap together for this game so Sharpe can rub it in ol' Skippy's face next week.  If Luck and the Offense struggle again to get going then Bayless will have more fuel to add to the fire.

I never watch Skip and Sharpe but glad to hear Sharpe loves Luck. If the Colts win I may tune in for fun :billiejean:

pretty much every stat and rating out there says luck is better

AL has a much higher pff rating, 4th in the league.  DP is 20th.  Espn Qb rating has luck 8th, DP 22nd.

luck has twice as many TDs, a better interception ratio and a lot more yards.  im not going to give him a click, but what is the argument that DP is better?

Lucks throws are mechanical, and aren't pretty!  Then said prescotts wasn't pretty either but said they work.  Lucks works too and even better.  He contradicts himself a lot in this video.  He knows he's better just has to side with him for the ratings.  Unless he's actually that ignorant?

He's paid to be an * and stir up people. Take him with a grain of salt.

This, I’ve seen videos where he reluctantly came out and said Luck was very good.  I do believe he thinks he’s overrated but he still agrees he’s very good but not elite.

At the same time he gets paid to be controversial though and makes it sound like Luck is a bottom 10 QB.

He’s like the Joy Behar of sports.

No Cowboys fans declare Prescott number 1.   Jerry would trade Dak for Luck in less than a second.  And so would every Dallas fan.  Including Skip Bayless.

    • I'm not in Indiana, but I am so ready for the draft. I should have taken the day off.   I would be surprised to see that trade. The pats have said they have not received serious offers to trade back. But that would be great to see Marvin Harrison's son as a Colt.
    • Surprisingly in “twitter land” it’s picking up steam lol. It’s the Wild West in there right now. On the .0000001% chance it happens I feel the fanbase would still be split. Some furious over compensation. Some over the moon to get Marvin’s son in Indy.    As long as we don’t draft a OL in the first round I’ll be a happy camper. Hoping for Bowers, BTJ, Arnold in that order for who would (realistically) want.
    • There’s been a lot of comments made by Ballard lately that they are always planning a few years out, while the coach is pushing for players that can help now. So it’s a balance. He’s made comments that the goal is to protect and provide weapons for AR. The talent at the top of the draft seems like there could be a couple really good offensive lineman falling down to us, with a run on receivers and skill players. I don’t necessarily see that, I think there could be a run on qbs, tackles, and pass rushers with the obvious 3 receivers before we pick. That could potentially push all corners, as well as Bowers down to 15. But say, both corners and Bowers go top 15, who does that push out? Most likely a talented tackle. They can either trade back or take the highest rated player on the board, which would provide swing tackle depth, and a plan for if Smith is injured/isnt re-signed following 2025. Some are speculating it might be best to move Smith to guard in that scenario.
    • I don't believe this would ever happen as the price would be much too steep. The only way this is even a remote possibility is if the Pats do not like Maye or McCarthy . Then this would also need the QB needy teams to feel the same as NE . The value of Maye , if he's a franchise QB is multiple firsts. IMO , you can't give up that for a WR
