Our line is not playing well today.

I think people quickly forget how good the Jags D is  wen they r jacked.  It's just a case of a great D line  going up against a good O line.  It's a very physical game up front.  The hope is that we wear them out towards the 2nd half.

Uhh. Frank Reich?

What are you doing?

Even with the 3 we could still be playing for the win!  Gotta' kick the ball there.

damn , this Jags defense is playing up to it's potential today.

I would've taken the points this early in the game , but I don't mind the aggression.

I like the call, they have the ball at the 1 yard line. It is what it is. We will eventually take over this game, just not executing early.

That's the problem of saying a call is bad based on the outcome. It don't work like that. The numbers back him.

The play call.... urgh.

Just a dumb coaching decision to go for it on 4th down there. You HAVE to come away with at least 3 points there.  Just let Jax off the hook for all their undisciplined play.

Did we read all the compliments this offense was getting too much and now we are over confident ?

Just doesn't look like we have any rhythm today on offense. Is the line different than we've had in previous games? Who is Haeg in for?

If you want to play for the win surely you go for the play that in the long-term will win you more games?

Game isn’t on tv here so I’m not sure what happened. I thought we kicked a FG but now it says 0-0? What happened?

Not at all, the numbers are pretty solid and EW% and EVA. Stop basing reactions off outcomes. You can't think like that as a HC.

The play call was bad though.

There is no guarantee to win more games because they went for it on 4 th down.

You play to to win the game, you take the points there, so that you know, you actually take the lead.

A lot. I mean. A load...

We kicked it, Jags committed a holding penalty and then we went four straight tries to get 6 and came away with nothing.

What evidence is there that the Colts score on 4th and goal enough to out weigh taking the easy 3?  Colts rarely seem to succeed on those sort of gambles.  Take the 3 and accumulate points.

Kudos to the defense ended for holding up and forcing the 3 and out.

Ok.. no it's not a guarantee. Neither is kicking the 3 BUT in the long-term you will win more games going for it in that situation. That's not opinion, that's math.

Omg people.  Why all the negative comments bout how our offense is playing?.  R u watching the same game I am.  It is a slug fest.  We r not playing bad. It is just a case of a good O going against a great D. Jags D came to play today

I was calling it dumb before the outcome.  And I disagree with your flawed stats. Prove that the Colts succeed on those gambles enough.  League wide numbers are NOT Colts numbers.   Plus look at how disjointed the Colts are looking. You gotta take the points.

We've been one of the better teams in those situations so not sure why you say that.

The evidence, is people looking at a huge sample of plays, working out the EVA for those plays, then how it affects win % and there's shed loads of analytics articles there with solid math.
