He said that last week, too.  I didn't like the play call, at all.  First, it was too obvious and secondly, he could have easily been injured.  They spent so much time getting him back and healthy, and then put him at risk with a dumb play.

Even if that wasn't the play design the Dolphins where smart enough to think they wouldn't risk Luck there and had their CB Blitz which pretty much forced them to throw it to Luck.

 

Lets find another way to get first downs on 4th and 1.

The 2015 fake punt is now the second worst play in Colts' history, IMO. That play only risked one game.

 

Seriously, I can't fathom the stupidity of calling the play yesterday.  If Luck gets driven into the ground and lands on his shoulder wrong, then I'd hate to be in Reich's shoes.

as dumb as the Luck play was, it doesnt come close to the worst play in Colts history.  Not even close.  That fake punt will NEVER be forgotten.  This Luck as a receiver, it'll be forgotten in a matter of weeks if it never happens again.

There definitely a lot of hold your breath moments yesterday. The hit after the catch, the hit by Alonso, by then even the Qb sneak made me nervous. He also got hit pretty hard on that sack that was taken back by the flag.
