Blue helmet with color rush: no

Blue helmet with all whites: yes

THIS! Home=all blue unis with white helmet.  Away=all white unis with blue helmet. That's what I would like to see.

That makes little sense, Luck just threw for the highest completion percentage of his career in those all blue uniforms....  Don't think spotting his Receivers was even a minute issue due to uniform changes... lol

He may have some point. There has certainly been academic research into team colours and success rates. I think there was a definite “advantage” to teams playing in red when it comes what we call football.

It has also been suggested Orange is a good choice given it’s the opposite to green.

Cheers for the lol, knew I’d get one :D  Wasn’t talking about that one game in particular, just think it’s easier to pick out a white outfit than darker colours. It has been an issue in soccer over here in the past, certain strips stand out more.

I prefer the base unis, but also enjoy a little different look once in a while (2 - 3 times a season?).

I'm just happy to see them on TV, so I'm not going to go too nuts with the colors they wear (as long as it's blue & white (mostly).

BUT, I'm color blind, so I'm sure that discounts my opinion.

BTW, anyone see the Browns/Bengals game?

What if they played each other in a color rush game? You couldn't fit anymore orange on the screen.

The Bengals color rush has no color, but they do have orange jerseys:

While we're at it, they should go back to this shade of blue.

I'll admit, wasn't a fan of the idea at all.  BUT...…..I kinda like'em.  I think it would even look better with the blue helmet.  Now I need to go check my man card real quick.....

I would leave the road whites ALONE, but striping on shoulders/sleeves could be improved (subtly), and facemask could possibly look better than gray.  I'd experiment with white or blue (a mettalic blue could look great.  Lastly, black hi-tops  to finish.  But overall, i am VERY attached to the road unis.  Perfect, beautiful simplicity.

The blue color rush has really grown on me.  I wouldnt mind them for home game unis.?   I'd love to see the blue color rush with white striping with blue metallic helmet (like jets green one) with white shoe and  Facemask.

Just dont mess with those road whites!

I like the blue on blue uniforms on a one game per season basis.

First off, the Colts' "standard" uniforms are hands-down some of the best in the league.  The all-white road uniforms are *the* best road unis in the league (in my humble opinion).

All that said, the blue-on-blue look is also fantastic.  They look great on TV.

I definitely wouldn't mind seeing these again at some point this year.

LOVE THEM! I miss the helmets the Colts wore on Thanksgiving 2004 against Detroit with the two Horseshoes on the back of the helmet.

I agree with the shoulder striping. I have no idea why they made them shorter. I prefer this...

I didn't like them as much as I thought I would, given my druthers I'd rather see just the pants in blue as an alternate or a nod to the 84's.

    • The Steelers are playing with their 2nd stringer also...
    • There is also two other WRs at the bottom of the screen coming open on that same play. Smh. Options everywhere
    • I hope you’ll be proven right.  I fear you won’t.   I will say that teams like JAX and TEN had more invested in their high first-round picks Bortles and Mariota than the Colts do in JB, who we traded for in a moment of immediate need.   That said, it just seems more common in the league to wait too long based on a belief that a player’s full potential is high and just around the corner.
    • they are in the playoff hunt, but not many people think they will win a super bowl.  most of the top teams have really good QBs
    • What I'm getting at, though, is that regardless of his circumstances, it's possible to evaluate a QB on the basis of his performance, abilities, traits, and perceived potential to improve. That's my viewpoint.   Of course, the rougher the circumstances and the greater the number of variables, the more complicated the evaluation becomes. But while the receivers haven't been great, we can still look at JB and see what he does well and what he doesn't do well, we can reach reasonable conclusions about why he excels or struggles in certain areas, and we can project whether he can reasonably improve and become a player worthy of an investment of time and money, and worthy of building around. Sure, it's somewhat complicated, but it's not all that difficult, IMO.   What the Colts do at QB in the offseason will depend, to a large degree, on their evaluation of JB. I am confident that they will not say 'well, JB had a rough set of circumstances, let's wait and see what he does next year.' If they strongly feel that he's good enough to build around, that will affect how seriously they pursue other options at the position. But if they aren't sold on him, I don't think they'll just say 'let's give him another year, let's give him another year.'
