Oh shush, you literally only ever post when stuff is going against us. You're a stormweather fan.

To all the doubters: Peace!    I've been quick at times to dog on Luck but I made a point never to trash Luck or give up since Luck played well vs Houston. Even though we lost that game I le

There we go folks... it was ugly, we were off our game but we won. Luck shows again that he can shrug off a bad start and put the team on his back. True leader.

Strange that folk stop posting as we pulled it back...

Phew!

Great...…..great...…….great point...…….. WE JUST WON A GAME WHERE WE DID NOT PLAY OUR BEST GAME !

Hooooooly guys this team kills me haha

In September and October, we lose this game. The way this game was going, what with all the shooting themselves in the foot, it reminded of the Jets game.

But they persevered and got it done. What an effort. And what a play by Luck.

Hey @needanoline63 did you see the block by BigQ on that last pass by Luck?

He put his man in concrete shoes to keep Luck clean and give him time to find Rogers.

Pretty good block, huh?

Pure gator country.

I honestly am shocked that we won given how we played. But lord does Andrew have pocket awareness. If he doesn’t get out of the pocket, that big throw never happens. I’ll take the W!

I knew we had it all along :sarcasm:. I have to admit, this game had me on edge and my blood pressure is off the charts, chewing Tums now. What a freakin huge win. This team is exciting.

I love the games.....always..but there's a time in a game I expect we'll win..that I start imagining a loss.

Like 'Oh, no. we're about to lose"..at that point..its suffering down to the final second

    • Hughes really didn't do anything for us when he was here.  He wasn't working out in the 3-4 system and like @SteelCityColthas already said, he was very unhappy here.     In three years in Indy he had 51 tackles and 5 sacks and started just 7 total games.  He wasn't made for the system we were playing and he didn't want to play here anyway.     We got Kelvin Shepard in return who started 7 games (played in 15) and had 46 tackles the lone year here (basically equaling Hughes' 3 year output).     Hughes has gone onto a nice career in Buffalo, by changing position to edge rusher/DE.  Good for him.  Unless we switched to a 4-3 and moved him to a specialty role of edge rusher from the DE position, he would never have produced like that here.     It's easy to look at Hughes' numbers in Buffalo and think we lost out big on him, but the scheme we were running and his attitude in Indy wouldn't have worked out for him or us.  For what he was doing for us, it wouldn't be unreasonable to think he would have been cut and not made our final roster.  Instead we traded him and got decent value back, albeit for only 1 year.
    • The Fredd Young one hurt. We gave up two number 1s and he never really panned out. I'll even say I wasn't thrilled giving up the rights to Cornelius Bennett for Dickerson (although that trade helped put us back on the map) But MAN. Elway. Bob Irsay traded him after waiting a whole 5 weeks to (no hardball there), WITHOUT telling the GM at the time. Worst. trade. ever.
    • Draft position penalizes you for drafting successfully and winning in the previous year(s). I figure the NFL hates their GMs. "Let no good deed go unpunished."
    • Which team cut Kenny Moore because they didn’t think he could play?  Patriots?   Sometimes a change in scenery can work out.  The Bellicheck’s and Gruden’s of the world are not perfect either.
