It's better than nothing you asked for it and I gave it to you so nothing I said changes anyway

Yes nothing changes. You are still very wrong haha multiple posters have explained it but you either don’t read what we’re saying or just are too hard headed to accept that you aren’t always right. You seem like you’d be a pleasure to work with...

No such thing as a trap game. Nonsense really. It's like your wife having a 'trap' birthday. Like, it's her 37th and you don't bother with a present. Wooooosh. Doghouse here I come. Etc.

He and everyone else on the planet thinks that.

It’s not relevant so it is nothing. It’s like giving a man who is starving to death a pair of gym shorts.

What good was that?

So, if 5-5 is a winning record do you also agree it's a losing record?

It's not losing because it's not below .500

I... but... how...

It’s just so simple. It’s so damn simple.

And yet here we are.

I’ve never seen anything like it. In fact, I wish I knew someone to contact to come study it, and try to make some sense of it.

What a curious case.

There is no middle you either winning or losing

Just like there is no middle in this argument.  You're either winning or losing.

And you, sir, are losing.  Unanimously.  The judges have scored every single round to your opponent.  In a landslide.

But feel free to dance around the ring with your arms raised while the ref holds up your opponents arm... smh

Ok,  lets end this thread, thanks  VAallday 757 for hijacking this thread. If you wanted to debate

the wins vs losses you should have created your own thread. This was only a thread about What games that we might be cautious about.

It is losing since you are not winning. See how easy that was?

And you haven't done your job - if you job is to provide a source to confirm your assertion - since the source did not confirm you assertion.  There is nothing in that source that says a .500 record is a winning record.  You are making that up.

    • Regardless of the move up if you are drafting a QB in the top 10 and he is a bust you should lose your job because that’s a huge setback for a team. Not just the 49ers but any team that takes a QB. Shanahan likes to run the West Coast offense and with that having a mobile QB helps so Fields makes more sense to me. But if he wants a pure pocket passer Jones fits the bill.
    • This is an important one for me that says otherwise. Playing with first round WRs hasn't tested Jones with tight windows as much, IMO.
    • Yep. And many of them also think that teams are going to give Ballard some ridiculous haul of draft picks.   Most of this is due to 2018 trade from #3 to #6...where the NYJ did give Ballard a sweetheart trade. But that wasn't some indication of draft approach...it was just good, sound decision-making. And it was a trade that nearly all GMs would make if they could get it (assuming they too didn't need a QB). And it happened well before the draft, which is much different than a draft day trade back.    So he's only really ever done a big draft day trade back once...in 2019. And not to rehash this...but it's looking like it was not the correct path...so I am not sure why fans are so gung-ho about doing it every year.   But overall, he's probably traded up on draft day as much as he has traded down.    I think if trades back this year, it's going to be small trade backs that land late round picks (like moving back in the 3rd and 4th rounds)...or one singluar trade back that lands Day 2 draft capital next year to help offset the Wentz trade.    And then after this trade, the prevailing narrative will be that it doesn't matter what Wentz does...because he was basically free.
    • Based on stats Mac Jones is above all. Career stats I’ll give Fields the nod. Lance has a potential high ceiling but eye test and stats he isn’t above either IMO. Not currently.
    • I think Kyle Shanahan is a good enough play caller that will make both Jones and Fields work for him just as he would with Lance. Ultimately, their decision becomes a make or break because of the draft capital they have given up to go get one that they think will make a difference and not have been available at No.12.   No matter who goes to SF will have a good record, the question will be if they can put them over the hump come playoff time. I don't think Jimmy G can.
