My Updated Mock Draft

Recommended Posts

1) Ind: Andrew Luck QB, Stanford- No explination

2) Was*: Robert Griffin QB, Baylor- QB is the biggest need and Was will have no problem trading up.

3) Min: Matt Kalil OT, USC- This pick is a no brainer and Kalil can be plugged in right away at LT.

4) Cle: Trent Richardson RB, Alabama- Hillis amd Ogbonnya were bad starters, but Richardson is a dynamic RB that is needed to spark the offense.

5) TB: Morris Claiborne CB, LSU- Barber might retire and Talib is facing legal troubles. Claiborne has the tools to be a shut down corner.

6) Stl*: Justin Blackmon WR, OSU- Lloyds future is up in the air. If he stays Blackmon and Lloyd would be a dangerous tandem.

7) Jac: Michael Floyd WR, Notre Dame- DE is needed but if they want Gabbert to succed then they need a dynamic WR. Coples and Ingram are better but Jac is not afraid to reach a player.

8) Mia: Quinton Coples DE, UNC- They are switching to a 4-3 hybrid and Coples is good enough to play 3-4 DE and 4-3 DE. RT is a need but i have Coples over Reiff.

9) Car: Dontari Poe NT, Memphis- Car had a terrible rush D and Poe is the best DT. He is a physical freak and desearves a top 10 pick.

10) Buf: Courtney Upshaw OLB/DE, Alabama- Buf is switching to a 4-3 hybrid like Mia and they also need a DE bad. Upshaw is versatile who can stand up and put his hands in the dirt.

11) KC: Reily Reiff OT, Iowa- Richardson was a terrible RT and needs to be upgraded. Reiff is a beast who will be an instant starter at RT.

12) Sea: Melvin Ingram DE, South Carolina- Seattle needs a QB but i dont think they will go for Tannenhill. Ingram is a beast and is needed. Bryant is more of a DT and Brock is declining a DE is needed across from Clemons.

13) Arz: Johnathan Martin OT, Stanford: Arz has put off getting a RT or LT for years. Martin is a great player and can be plugged in at LT or RT.

14) Dal: Michael Brockers DE, LSU: Brockers is a steal at 14. Dal almost took JJ Watt but went with Smith. Brockers has great skill set to be a 3-4 DE with speed and size.

15) Phi: Luke Kuechly LB, Boston College: LB is a need and Kuechly is the best player. He is a beast and would fit great at MLB for the Eagles. He can cover and has great run support.

16) NYJ: Whitney Mercilus OLB, Illinois: Pace is old and Maybin was decent. Mercilus is a great pick and topped the NCAA in sacks. He could also stand up and put his hands in the dirt.

17) Cin*: Dre Kirkpatrick CB, Alabama: Clements is old and a CB is needed next to hall. Kirkpatrick is a great zone CB who can also play Saftey at the next level. He also has great tackling and run support skills.

18) SD: David DeCastro OG, Stanford: Sadly Deilman retired due to concussions so a successor is needed. DeCastro can play right away and is compared to Mankins and Hutchinson as a prospect.

19) Chi: Mark Barron SS, Alabama: Chi had trouble at saftey and went through Harris, Meriweather, and Conte. Barron would be a beast who can playe the run and cover very well.

20) Ten: Nick Perry DE, USC: Babin was missed and they need a good pass rusher to fill this need and Perry did good at the Combine and his Pro-day.

21) Cin: Cordy Glenn OG, Georgia: I think RB is a bigger need but i dont think Miller or Wilson should be picked. Glenn is one of the best Gs in the draft and could solidify the already elite Cin OL.

22) Cle*: Kendall Wright WR, Baylor: He is a speedy receiver who could be deadly when paired with Greg Little. McCoy is an ok QB but needs some weapons and what better way than to get Richardson and Wright.

23) Det: Janoris Jenkins CB, North Alabama: Det likes to take best player avaliable and i think its Jenkins. Jenkins has the potential to be a shut down corner if they put him in line.

24) Pit: Donta Hightower ILB, Alabama: Farrior is old and is a FA and will probably leave. Hightower would fit Pit perfectly and could be great next to Timmons.

25) Den: Fletcher Cox DT, Mississippi State: Bunkley was good but they still need a DT next to him. Cox is a great DT and is very athletic and he can stop the run.

26) Hou: Stephan Hill WR, Georgia Tech: Hou really doesnt have any needs but a WR next to Johnson couldnt help. Hill is tall an has speed and he could thrive next to Johnson.

27) NE*: Devon Still DT/DE, Penn State: Since NE runs both a 3-4 and 4-3 then Still is versatile who can stop the run and put some pressure on him.

28) GB: Vinny Curry OLB, Marshall: Walden wasnt very good and someone next to Mathews is needed. Curry IMO is very underrated and deserves a higher pick, GB is getting a steal here.

29) Bal: Peter Konz C, Wisconsin: Birk is a FA and will most likely leave or retire. If Hightower is avaliable then he is the pick. I could see pick Burfict but im going with the safer pick.

30) SF: Coby Fleener TE, Stanford: Just like Hou they dont have many needs but another weapon would be great. Fleener has worked with Harbaugh and they would love to be reunited.

31) NE: Andre Branch OLB/DE, Clemson: This would fit great with as Branch is very versatile who can play OLB in a 3-4, and DE at a 4-3.

32) Mike Adams OT, Ohio State: Adams happens to be the best player avaliable and fills a need. Kareem Mckenzie is a FA who will probably leave and Will Beatty is an ok LT. Adams is a great OT who can play both tackle postions.
