Colts vs Dolphins flexed to 4:25 ET

Recommended Posts

I hope the Colts will honor Gore at this game to say thank you for his 3 years as a Colt.

I think alot of people in the NFL and media are waking up now and realize Andrew Luck is an attraction again. I have a feeling if we go on a run, our game at Houston will be flexed as well.

Tannehill is targeting the Colts game for his return. But yes, I'd rather see Tannehill.

Yes, the media needs something to talk about and Andrew Luck is as good as anything.  The casual fan knows about his injury but is probably curious and wants to judge for themselves what he looks like.

He could also earn come back player of the year so the media might begin hyping that angle pretty soon.

Besides, nothing else about the AFC South or the AFC in general is all that compelling.

I'm not asking this to be rude, I'm really curious... But why?  I like Gore and I think he's a great football player and I enjoyed watching him as a 49er and I'm glad to see him doing about as well as expected as a Dolphin, but he didn't do anything special as a Colt so why honor him?  He was just a free agent signing.

Because he is a 1st ballot HOF, and a 1st class teammate and we are lucky to have such a player, play for our franchise.

He played great and laced the cleats up every week. Played damn well for the shambles our line was in.

We're not retiring his jersey or anything, but a quick little thank you announcement would be ok, and what a 1st class organization like the Colts would/should do.?

    • Having him back certainly makes a difference.    Probably come back player of the year at least.
    • Brees is playing well but has way better playmakers around him and still has 4 less TDs than Luck. Most valuable player should have nothing to do with a team when an individual is balling out. Luck for MVP. (I know he won’t get it but he deserves it)
    • Glad you're not too.  Some thought he was a steal at 15 and would have picked him at 10, LOL.   I wouldn't look to move on.  Hookers on a rookie contract.  But if we moved on, I wouldn't say the GM sucked like some might.
    • For an UDFA from a small school Odum looked just fine out there yesterday. He made several instinctive plays and tackled well.    Aside from jumping on the pile at the end of the first half I'd say he played pretty damned well!!!!!!
    • Me too.  I was surprised Turay wasn't called for jumping on the Mariota QB pile.
