First I trust that they tried to trade him before they cut him, and 2nd He's 31 so I don't think Ballard wants him.

Definitely need to atleast make a call to his agent and see what the asking price would be. I know he's 31 but he's still productive and solid pass rushers don't come along every day. I'd offer him a 2 yr deal.

I'd have to really take time to think of someone less likely to ever be signed by Ballard. 

Without getting too harsh , Irwin is just not what we're doing , plus he's 31. It doesn't fit with our direction at all , and we have Sheard/Hunt as veteran pieces at DE. 

Lewis and Turay need playing time. Let him sign with the Cowboys or something.
