It is like watching the Hulk pounce like a cat, gaining position, then mauling his defender into submission. He is adapting very quickly.
Great job by all 5 lineman refining their skills and working their combination blocks so smartly.
So who is this guy McDump wanted for his line coach? Haha. Great job Coach!
Watch colts.com Ebron piece to see some excitingly good TE blocking. With this kind of team blocking, finding RB's that can get it done get's MUCH easier. And less expensive.  :colts:

Pfffppfft, we should have taken a RB or WR at pick #6.....

barkley wasnt even there.  if he had been he would have been a great pick too

this class has been impressive though, except for lewis our 4th round and higher picks are all meeting or exceeding expectations.  Leonard and smith are greatly exceeding them

Im concerned about Ballards hit rate regarding future draft picks, because if he keeps hitting bullseye, we will be in capspace hell in 5-6 years

Because all of these players might want to see big paychecks down the road, and if he keeps hitting it out of the park, we cant pay them all.

But Id rather he keeps hitting jackpots in the draft than not.

Trade bait for more future picks.

Or, at least comp picks....

It still amazes me that Andrew is starting to get Peyton type protection. Big test coming though next sunday. Keep it up Big Q and lets give a shout out to ryan kelly as well. Im sure Reich is gonna show them that 10 sack game to fire them up

And who do you suggest that to have been?  DJ Moore was the highest WR taken in the draft, hes got 18 receptions and 171 yards, playing in 7 games.  That would put him 7th in stats on the COLTS pass catchers. Just above Jack Doyle, who's played in just 3 games.

outside of Barkley at RB, there was no other RB taken in the first round and outside of barkely, none are really performing

And since no one has mentioned this.  a reminder,  that Darius Leonard was the Defensive Rookie of the Month for September!

Back to back winners in October and November!

Pretty sweet!!

That Ballard isn't too bad , he also drafted Mack who has dominated 2 weeks in a row.

Chubb is Good but we have Nelson and Leonard, advantage Colts.

Colts could have still had Chubb and Leonard though.

But I was kidding...I take the trade back in that scenario 10/10 times. It is nice to know that it appears the Colts couldn't lose either way.

Barkley would have been a pick by both Polians and Grigson, Ballard has a different vision. The coaching staff and brass are high on Lewis. I can't wait to see what he brings to the team.
