From Pass Happy to Balanced....

Tombstone

Recommended Posts

This started with the Jets game.  Even when they were down they still ran the ball and now it's paying huge dividends.  You almost never saw the Colts run the ball if they along picked up 2 yards on the play, when that happened you could be assured the next play was a pass.  They are running the ball two, three times in a row on drive now.  Hell they are even running the ball well in the redzone for crying out loud.....  and two point tries.  This is a game changer for this and coaches that game plan against them. If this keeps up maybe taking a guard in next year draft with a higher pick can be use elsewhere

Liked your own post you had to make it its on topic?

I think Reich LOVES what he's seeing out of his line, and Luck is renforcing this probably on the sidelines. What Im seeing even more is the Colts feeding the hot-hand at RB. Last year, Mack would come in and get a big play for 20 yards. They'd pull him, and run Gore up the middle for 1 yard. Pass the next: First down? Run up the middle again. Punt.

Now: Mack is chewing it up. Feed Mack.
Hines is tearing it up. Feed Hines.
Jack "Rules" Doyle tears it up. Feed Jack.

Its noice

Thanks for those flashbacks. You could bet on that series happening at least 3x a game. This Colts O is finally fun to watch again - and we don’t need bombs to TY to make it happen :)

It's amazing what you can accomplish when you're actually leading a game and hold the ability to run the ball successfully.

After the 10-0 lead, the Raiders took the lead and led most of the way.   We still ran the ball and did it successfully.
