Colts @ New York Jets Game Day Thread

If our defense can stop them in the red zone, I'm fine with it.

It's these drops and a really bad pass here and there from Luck that worries me.

So what you're telling me is that the Colts are the beer goggles of the NFL?

Marlon Mack caused that pick six not luck.

I know. The bad pass I'm referring to is the throw that went right to a Jets defender. That could've been another pick 6 easy.

CBS Guy:  Ballard has done a great job of finding people that can play football and putting them on this roster.

Me:  Why aren't these guys active on game day?  Where are we hiding them?

On the treatment table for the most part...

God our running game sucks.

Shouldn't be to shocking, Been at least 10 years since we've had a running game. I'd say the Addai/James era.  I watch every week and get a gut ache almost instantly lol

I don't know if I am a fan of Reich's coaching.  He just refuses to run.  Sometimes u just have to try and impose your will on a team.  How r we suppose to establish a running game if we never they? Frustrating.

Luck with a 3-yard run is tied as our leading rusher.

Honestly, he only had that because the lineman didn't get called for holding. :/

I feel like there's a joke here about safe scoring, but I'm not sure what it is..........and it's probably not forum friendly.

I know it’s been that way for years but you think it would get better someday.

Well.  Lots of people complained when Pagano did just that.

We need to fire our O-line coach. We have talent he is not coaching them up.

He was definitely the most skeptical coaching hire IMO, besides the obvious Snake.

You guys realize that "CBS guy" is Bruce Arians , right?

Seriously???  No, I didn't realize that.  He's not coaching any more?  Man, I am so out of the loop this season.

    • It’s not a need...but they also don’t need to pay Walker long-term...especially this offseason.   Leonard is a star...he would compliment anyone. And Okereke has flashed enough to see if he can be that guy.   You say people undervalue Walker...but then say he won’t break the bank. If he as undervalued as you claim...then he won’t be cheap. I would gladly keep him if that were the case...but I bet he will want at least $10M/year...given what other ILB contracts have looked like.    I get it...people love Walker. But IMO...he’s a solid-good run defender who has limitations in pass coverage...someone that could be improved upon...and not worth a big second contract. We will see what Ballard does.
    • Well, for those who want to draft Etienne: we can do that in 2021. He's going back to College for his senior year...
    • You can’t just bring in a jerk or * hole.    That person also has to play his * off and hold himself accountable.     So the jerk has to be a quality player to earn respect.
    • Like I said, I'm not turning this into an Andrew thread
    • Not sure how CB can make this statement with a straight face?  When you preach competition, and continue putting players on the field that are costing the team win's, I would imagine that has a negative effect on the locker room culture.     It's called a team sport for a reason, it takes 53 guys on team, 11 on each side of the ball plus the ST units to do their job's.  I'm certainly not suggesting we are a SB team, but we have some really good, young players on this team, and I think if CB would have made some moves earlier, we could have ended the season on a more positive note.   On a final note, CB has always preached doing things the right way, bringing in the right players and now he says we need some friction in the locker room?  I agree, but you are not going to draft those type of players, that comes from signing some FA's that have experience and have earned a reputation for being a hard nosed, respected player.
