GG. Good Season guys. Who do we draft in the top 10?

Ed Oliver would be amazing.

This defense isn't going anywhere until that line improves.

Luck is really really good. This rest of the Colts are bad.

Remember when Ballard said this team "will not be about 1 player(Luck)". Its about 53 man roster.....

Really?

haha

Ballard's first words were, "It's not about 1 person" alluding to the Colts being more than just Andrew Luck. Well....

This game is a perfect example of why I haven't and probably won't be able to confidently predict a win for the rest of the season.

Jets radio announcers sound like they are not used to calling games that the Jets are winning...…….... OH WAIT the Jets very rarely do win .

Not sure if its a good thing that our offense relies solely on TY but i get it

It’s definitely not a good thing.  But he is all they really have at receiver.  No one else can catch it seems. Lol. No one else can stretch the defense or make the defense have to worry about where he is at all times.  Ballard has a lot of work to do as our cupboard is still pretty bare at the skill positions. Time to come off some of that cap money and bring in some playmakers.  Enough with the bargain bin thrift shopping.

Still a winnable game, but we are a one dimensional offense and everyone knows it. You can blame the Oline, but can't convince me that a RB such as Bell would suck as bad as our RBs.

Most depressing half of football this season.

Ballard and Reich - honeymoon nearly over.

Maybe we are a bad team? Not having TY really hurts I will say that. Both of Luck's INT's weren't even his fault. WR's can't catch the ball and our Defense is back to being bad compared to weeks 2 and 3. Down 23-13 at Half, time to step and make some plays or the season is toast.

i guess its not that surprising when you consider our wide receivers are all undrafted free agents except for grant, who was a 5th.  the running backs have been bad too

The Colts have discovered a cure for the common cold, no one can catch anything!

Doyle is a big big miss too, don’t underestimate his run blocking.

I hope we don't give up on Mack...he is not a power runner, get him the ball in the open field and the guy can make some big plays for us. He dropped the screen pass, I get it, but come back to that and he can punish the Jets!

I think we'll be lucky to win a few more games the rest of the season.

The only win I can maybe see is buffalo. That's it... So sad.

Luck has been getting little help.  I won’t put the first one on him.  The second one he has some blame as it was a pretty dangerous throw near three white shirts. Still Grant should have been able to secure that catch.

Not trying to argue... But mack is made of glass. I don't see him staying on the roster long considering his current trajectory. I really thought he showed promise last year... The situation reminds me of the ex Colts running back Vick Ballard.

I figured this would be a long season because of all the young guys. It's like an NBA team who wants to tank the season by just throwing out their young talent and seeing which ones show enough to stick around.

However, I thought with Luck back there was no way we would win less than 6 games. I saw 6-7 wins. I may have to take that back if we can't beat a team like the Jets.

I’m sorry but I’m at a point where I just want to see Wilkins out there. Mack has been trash

My brother in law is a Titan fan

Wen he heard we were going to a zone scheme ....he said good luck. He said u  can't run one system alone and b successful.  The good qbs will pick it apart

Ballard sat on that wallet . Whether that was the way to go is a matter of opinion I guess .  But this is what you get .

Good QBs?  More like every QB.

We don’t really have a good running back on the entire roster.  None of these guys are special.  They are all back up type runners. Still need to find that franchise back in my opinion.

    • Massive generalisation here. Some fans can understand the nuance of what the team might be trying to achieve as show by @Peterk2011's posts. Given how much the offense improved last year despite Reich being a late hire, not having had time to get the pieces in place he might have ideally wanted, wouldn't you want to see what it can do if can fully implement his vision?     Two points, I think you're right that we might never know the full reason for DeGuglielmo's departure. He seems to wear out his welcome quickly in most places. However he wasn't the only McDaniels hire, I believe Eberflus was as well.
    • Mod Note I've once again had to remove a number of posts in a topic as they were, aside from a brief interlude of almost intelligent discourse, mostly just personal attacks.    It's fine to disagree, it's fine to "argue" the content of someone's post, it's not fine to resort to name calling and calling other posters out completely out of context to the topic being discussed.    You all know the rules, it would be silly to get banned before the season starts...
    • definitely talking more about NT. I love Autry, but outside of him it feels like we have a bunch of good not great on the iDL. it's going to be interesting to see how much adding Houston, raises the play of the entire DL.
    • IIRC, almost the same weight. Hines me be one inch shorter.    Like others have said, don't get too attached. He's a scheme guy (Leach), so big questions about how he might translate to the NFL. Most reviews I saw compared him to a change of pace back. Typically change of pace backs are faster. But who knows. Stranger things have happened.
    • FTFY. You probably meant nearly 5000 posts and 3000 reactions. That's pretty impressive for just 9 months.   Anyway, glad that Inman landed on his feet. I thought he might sign with the Giants who need one or two more WRs.
