It was looking bleak after the shoulder injury, the San Diego and Miami drama. You found a home; restored some life into a needy city; beat us in the super bowl, and looking like you're gonna be on top of the QB's record books.

So the Dolphins passed on him because of shoulder concerns and since then have not found a QB worth a dirty locker room towel. Peyton might have gone there as well but instead, went to Denver.

He knew the ownership was more stable and Elway lucked into him thus being able to draw other free agents as well that helped him win the SB. Now, after Osweiler, Lynch, Keenum, Elway is still searching...
