Posted just as DD was asking this on 1070...... and, I have no clue.....  contain Luck?  Drop 7 and dare us to try and run?    I'm not scared of their D, it's pretty anemic so far this year..... just need some guys to step up on Offense

BB has few worries tonight. He only need to contain Brady’s emotions if he doesn’t pass for at least 4 TDs.

I imagine Brady will have a few moments of unhappiness tonight...... they like short passes, but that OL is hot garbage

He mentioned Ebron and Grant by name on his weekly preview so I'd guess one of them. Ebron in the RZ, Grant outside of it. Though his preview focused more on how Colts have well designed offense that attacks all 3 levels of the field and how dangerous Luck is and even needs to be contained in the run game.

Scar will make it work, outside of Solder it's the same line as in previous years.. just hopefully it won't happen today, lol.

I think it may be interesting who they decide to watch. Pretty much all of our WRs aren't anything special outside of TY Hilton. I'd say they are all equal in some ways so I'm sure it may be a little harder for BB to figure out. Also, worth to mention that Luck has been spreading the ball around to everyone this season. He doesn't need to rely on TY as much.

I'd guess Rogers.  He's gonna be our chain mover & substitute for our lack of running game.  Take him away and you stand a good chance at keeping us in 3rd and long and getting us off the field on 3rd downs.  And I expect Luck to lean more on Rogers after discovering he could depend on him in the 2nd half last week.

The question I have  is will Bill try to kill us with Dorsett in an effort to prove that they won that trade?

In all honesty I don't think BB will specifically target any one weapon on the Colts tonight.  My guess is there is a big lack of respect for the playmaking ability on this team.  I can see them stacking the box and sending heat at Luck all game.

This could very well bode well for guys like Rogers, Ebron and Hines on quick dump offs or slants.

If anything I think BB would be more focused on our D.  Its played inconsistently at times but has also done pretty well at getting to the QB and causing turnovers.  If the Pats can get any semblance of a running game going then it will be a long night.

Hard to say what Belichcik will have up his sleeve for this game, but if I'm Frank Reich, this is the matchup where I'm utilizing Luck's legs & moving him around outside of the pocket. Then in the 2nd half, run it down their throats until their defense is just gassed, then the passing game will be wide open up downfield.

I'm guessing he dares the Colts to run this game. We've failed to prove we can successfully run against teams this year, so I imagine the box will be open and all receivers will be covered. They'll allow Luck to throw underneath but try to stop us from getting those huge plays like we had last week against the Texans.

Who cares? Brissett is an asset on this team. We won the trade, hopefully there are more trades in the NFL that help both sides. But isn’t that a point of a “trade”? Do you think Brissett would have shown this much potential while in NE without any playing time? Unlikely. Different players. Different positions. Different schemes. Different coaches. It all plays into how a player performs on the field.

I think he will dare us to run.  If Costanzo starts I would run Turbin and Wilkens and show them we can move it on the ground.  We need Costanzo to make the run game work though.  Grant and Ebron across the middle and Hines on swing passes.  Look out for Swoopes.

They got a starter, we got a backup. I realize it's not totally that black & white, but until we flip Brissett for a high draft pick, it's hard to view that trade as a straight up win for the Colts. I have no issue with making that trade, it had to happen, but only time will tell who actually won that one.

Reich would be able to call good plays to beat then dropping 7.  Theyd just be rushing 4 which is a standard play call.  we wouldn't have too big of a problem against that

Just watch, BB won't even think about the long ball.

And we will come out guns blazing with the long ball. It is pretty obvious that Andrew Luck is getting more and more confident with his throwing (I think the turning point was that deep ball to Hilton this past weekend).

Frank Reich will have a few tricks up his sleeve, don't worry. Watch the first play in the game be a play-action that ends up being a deep ball to like Ebron or Rogers.

Go no-huddle from the start.  Wear the defense down

I would NOT be opposed to that to be honest.

To I'd imagine that with a game against a team like the Patriots and also away, some coaches would wanna hold that card till much later in the game. But I say # that, come out guns blazing! Reich should be playing this game under the assumption that 30 points AT THE VERY MINIMUM will be required lol.
