Am I about to have worse record then the browns?

Yes, you have a record of about 2-1354 for quality posts.

Luck missed two wide open receivers in the red zone. That’s on him not OC.

Ebron wasn’t open. The throw was poor but back shoulder throws are throwing someone open. So you can get that from any formation.

Hines has to run hard..there's some holes there

Yeah I'm liking Hines.  Will be a good game for him to get PLENTY of reps.

I was confused as to what people were talking about with the Ebron pass.  Had to go back and watch it.  He wasn't open.  It was just a back shoulder hope shot.

I thought the pass to Paschal was the one he should have completed.  He had a step.

Andrew has to perform such heroics just to get a completion. It looks so difficult.

Meanwhile, Brady’s throwing to guys behind the LOS and they’re gaining 10-yards a pop.

It's comical.  I just jumped on one of the Pats fan forums and they are complaining the same as this group, refs are horrible, etc. etc. etc.  Except they feel they are getting the shaft and the refs are taking it easy on us. Everybody gets the homer glasses on come game night.

Well no one accused people from Boston of having intelligence.

How many times does Ebron limp off in a game :(

You noticed that, too..Looks like he needs a hip replacement and he;s back in 2 plays later

Alright. So we’ll be down 21-3 in about 5 minutes. Who’s up for some nachos?!

Sometimes I wish Luck would go to sidelines and yell like Brady.  I know that’s not his demeanor but what could it hurt.

The refs definitely aren't just screwing us over, in fact I think we've gotten some favorable calls (two in particular).

Yea like the lowering helmet that took out geathers. Got lucky on that one

I agree, Clark got away with a hold on that last drive, right in front of the ref too.

Lol yeah, that's the only reason we're losing, sure.

Luck was roughed (by today's standards) in the first series...

    • I don't think they would be the laughing stock of the league at 8-8. 2 years ago they were -16.  3 years ago they were 1-15. They are extremely stacked and have a QB who seems like the real deal.   They could win 10-14 games this season.   The Hunt signing was genius.
    • I also think it is time for the Lions fans to back off.   But to be fair, in his time in Detroit, he took several jabs at fans that called him out for his horrible play on the field.
    • Great stuff as usual, @stitches. Ballard is building a team as I like it, through the draft and without overly spending in free agency. I've never been a fan of spending on free agents outside the organization.    Anyhow, other teams' fans want their favorite teams to emulate what the Colts have done. The Jets SB Nation site has a good piece on how Ballard has built the Colts. One area the writer mentions is the value that Ballard has placed on second round picks. I thought it was a good read.    https://www.ganggreennation.com/2019/5/21/18631702/the-colts-provide-the-jets-with-a-great-model-to-turn-things-around
    • Well, it is not just about running more, it's about running effectively.  If the Colts have to get 2-3 yards in order to get a first down and they are able to do that by running the football.  Then they will have the opponent on their heels and the offense as a whole will be more effective.     I agree that you take what the defense gives you, but I would bet that if the Colts were able to consistently have runs of 6+ yards, the defense would try to stack the box, even against Luck.
