All I know is if I am Luck I am upset as the undermines my credibility as the QB of this team and causes a circus around whether I am good or not.  That was a huge mistake by the staff and is unacceptable, you have essentially cause a media storm and said you are not confident in Andrews ability to throw on that hail Mary play regardless of what his health is.

I like where the team is headed but that was just a bad decision and very disappointing and shakes my faith in this staff from a leadership perspective.

Just a really bad look from an otherwise decent showing against the SB champs.

No. That's all wrong.

luck is definitely in trouble, he throws behind receivers way too many times we could have won this game easily if Brissett played. I'm tired of the rusty comments. Luck has to get his head straight and quit playing like he's a rookie. I love the guy everyone here knows I do but he was just pathetic today and there's no denying it

Has to be said and most Colts fans won’t like it.

But that's not a shoulder injury issue.  Luck has never been supremely accurate in that way.   Some other NFL QBs have been much more consistently accurate in placing the ball where it needs to be.

I was not equating it to his shoulder injury. It was a touch throw that a middle school QB should make.

Luck was 25/40 for 164 and 1 TD. He threw for a career low 4.1 ypa and I believe his lowest yards passing in his career. Last week's passing total was his fifth lowest yards passing. In the last two games, twice he has been among the worst he's ever played.

There is something wrong.

Either his shoulder in not where it needs to be and the coaches have designed an offense around his limitations, or the coaches have taken a once prolific passer and have asked him to become Charlie-Check down. Either way, there is something wrong.

Is that the prognosis? Could he perhaps just need some time to get back all of his arm strength or could it be that he'll never get it back?

I know nothing about what surgery he got

He could or he couldn't it's person to person. Brees came back fine but labrum surgery has ended the careers of several QB's and pitchers in baseball. Hope for the best is all we can do.

Oh you mean the one that still hit him in the hands and then the breadbasket?!? Hell, dude dropped a pass in a wide open field. Funny thing is that's their darn job.....to catch the passes. Hard ones, easy ones, whatever ones they can. Not just the perfectly thrown, perfectly timed ones.

$7 million job...

Yes.....

Clearly there is something wrong...     and it's not just his shoulder.

His reads look poor.    His reactions look slow.    His decisions look questionable.    He relies WAY too much on Hilton which actually HURTS the offense because it makes us predictable and easy to defend.

And, yes,  his arm does not look nearly the same.    If you're using the "eye ball" test,  just look on the same field today as Carson Wentz.    He's Andrew Luck, 2.0.    His passes were mostly crisp and sharp and had plenty of zip on them.

You could time many of Luck's passes with a sun dial.  He looks almost like he's lobbing the ball.  I'm curious as to what we will do in 10 days when we play NE on a Thursday night.     Does Luck not practice at all that week?

Inquiring minds and all that.....

This is NOT the Andrew Luck we were hoping to see...

I didn't want to make this post.. There's still time and truth is they kept the SB within reach. Luck can't be this ineffective going forward though.

It wasn't Luck's fault that the defense, yet again, committed another costly, and stupid, penalty in the 4th quarter when we had them in a long situation. That is what is what's making me pull my hair out right now.

This game is not on our defense.  They played well enough for us to walk out of Philly with a win today.  Luck needs to lead this offense into the endzone more and stop settling for so many field goals.  Defense set him up pretty with a fourth quarter turnover deep in Eagles territory and he still couldn’t get us the TD we needed to pull this one out. I don’t want to hear any more Luck is elite talk until the man can throw for over 200 yards again on a consistent basis at least.

Really how so?  If you are the franchise QB and just come back from an injury that everyone was/has been talking about and the ball is given to the backup at the end of the game how does that look good?  The media will have a field day it is a bad look for the Colts somewhat like that ridiculous banner.  Think about and if you are going to respond then provide something other than a thin response.  Go Colts

Hmm, well it's "costly" when you throw for 4.1 ypa and can't stay on the field. It's "costly" when you can't convert two turnovers in the red zone to TDs. It's "costly" when you drop and miss TDs passes. It's "costly" when your defense is on the field all day because your offense can't sustain a drive.

This game was lost by the offense.

So when we’re up 3 and have them pinned 2 and 26, and what did we have on that Eagles drive, three penalties? It’s a team game. There was blame to go all over today. You’re delusional.

Was it only raining when Luck was throwing? Wentz threw for 255 yards, without his main targets playing in the game or his starting RBs.

A year plus off. Game 3. Go into full blown panic mode when he can't make those throws consistently.

LOL Some of you are so gullible! Anyone that expects Luck to be 100% after a year plus off is nuts.

Yeah Peyton once missed a pre-season and wasn’t right until mid season.

I do think there is some concern with his ability to throw it deep or jacoby doesn’t come in on the Hail Mary.

Still I am not going to panic over Luck yet.  He’s probably a little rusty and that’s a really good pass defense they were playing today.

Excuse with the rain. The 3rd quarter with D penalties was a horror. And Frank's play calling makes Chuck look like Bill Walsh. And Luck looked like Billy Kilmer with his wobbles.

You realize we drafted top 5 and almost beat the SB champs in their house?

Came up short on a rainy day.

Thank you.  I respect the honesty of that post.  It’s hard for all of us because no one wants to see Luck struggle like this.

This response has nothing to do with your "rain" comment.

I get that Luck is coming off nearly 600 days off from football and that he will be rusty. But you mentioned the rain, which is just an excuse. Wentz played in the same exact weather condition.

Ok. No problem. Get back to your full blown panic, I'll leave you alone.

The reason the defense is in that position is due to inept offensive play.

Also a few of those flags on that last defensive drive were awful.

We weren’t playing the 2017 Super Bowl champs.  We were playing the 2018 team which was minus Ajayi and Sproles and had a gimp legged Wentz fresh back from his injury.  The Eagles were “ripe for the picking” and we “let them off the hook!”  Lol

Yeah, clearly there is something wrong. Either the oline is bad and that's what is causing this tepid, short, safe offense, or it's Luck's lack of ability to throw deep that is causing this design.

Really? It was a 65 yard hail Mary! They feel Brisset's arm is stronger right now... They didn't put Brisset in for the game winning drive for God's sake. Get a grip.

We had chances, we just didn't capitalize. I'm just not in the full blown panic of Luck is toast and it's time for a coaching change mode.

Change a few plays and we could of easily won this game. They have the best home record since 2015 I think the announcer said?? No shame in losing this one.

And just like that, you didn’t even bother to comment about the penalties. If you’re going to make statements of blame, blame the penalties on all sides of the ball. Blame the coaching for not demanding a more disciplined team.

I really hope media starts hounding Reich about Lucks arm. We need to know if there is still an issue.

Trust they will.  Only thing the national media will say about the Colts performance today is how a Luck threw for under 200 yards for the second week in a row and had to be lifted for the final Hail Mary attempt with the game still on the line.  There will be a frenzy of shoulder questioning.

The hail Mary specialist.

Apparently, he's going to net some high draft pics or replace Luck if needed, because Brissett is better than a lot of QBs starting. Makes me feel better after Luck's performance today going forward. To much negativity on this board!
