I don't think people want only one or the other.

 

People want an effective offense that uses both. So far, we have gone from a throw it deep offense only, to a throw it short offense only.

 

Why not have both? Eagles seem to have a healthy balance.

Since when does being a balanced team require our offense to stink for our defense to play well?  How about the offense play like they are being led by a competent NFL quarterback while the defense is also holding it down.
