i heard the chances of making the playoffs after going 0-1 is 30%. Should we just throw in the flag and go for the #1 pick?

I don't think the Colts should throw in the towel,  but you should definitely consider it.

Well it looks like 15 other teams have a 30% chance too. I don’t get why some people here act like we’re the only team that lost today, lol.

CBall would just do something stupid like take a guard or tackle with our first pick. Also, I thought we started tanking in preseason. Good grief:facepalm:

What? I can’t with you people

The chances of making the playoffs are only 38 percent to begin with. So not doomed, but concerned. For all we know the Bengals could be good this year. Lots of season left.

It gets even worse.  Assuming all of the statistics in this thread are correct, if you do the math that means the chances of making the playoffs after starting the season 1-0 are only 45%.  Everybody is doomed!!!!!!!!

I think our 0-1 looks better than the Texans, Bills, and Titans 0-1.   I like our chances.

Plus our QB survived the game, Tennessee's did not.

I dont think anybody should have expected the Colts to be playoff bound this year, but as far as today the division still looks like trash.

    • To be honest with you, if we get that many sacks out of Paye (60) with twice as many pressures (120) over 10 years, I would be happy with that kind of production knowing what Buckner and others will bring on the interior as well and that the sack numbers will be distributed amongst other pass rushers too. You don't have 3 down pass rushers as much nowadays and the numbers probably will reflect that as time goes on, IMO.    That Philly D-line is loaded, so a lot of DL have to eat too.
    • Competition     Devastating when your opponent can knock in a 54 yarder to beat you, but your team vacillates between kicking the FG or going for it on 4th down beyond 49 yards.     Inside of 50 yards, yes he was. Hit 32 out of 37 field goal attempts (87%) and made 43 out of 45 of his extra point chances.     If he improves there, he wins his job back in his sophomore season, IMO.
    • He had some flashes, but also had Drew Lock as his QB, so that hasn't helped. He was waived, but I highly doubt we'll get him. We'll probably put a claim in for him, but another team higher on the waiver priority list will probably land him.
    • 40 yard times with pass rushers is almost irrelevant. Rarely will they ever be running more than 10 yards, except in pursuit. The 10 yard split is so much more important, because that shows the short distance speed and explosion needed on every snap.
    • Brandon Graham has somewhat underwhelmed in Philly and only has 60 career sacks over 11 years. That's only an average of 5 1/2 sacks per season.    I'm hoping we get more production out of Paye personally.
