Rookies Gaining Experience

I am hoping that this does not turn into a negative thread, especially after a loss.

 

I haven't had a chance to watch the game. Listened to it and followed along on the computer. My questions is, aside from Leonard (who was everywhere) how did the other young guys do today?

 

Hines?

Wilkins?

Basham?

Turay?

Smith?

Nelson?

Paschal?

S. Moore?

 

And anyone else that I may be forgetting.

Ya I only watched the 1st half and was wondering how Nelson did especially. Did he give up the Geno Atkins sack?

Wilkins and Hines did as well as they could. First half was very good production. 

 

Nelson was the muscle out there. Got beat up a few times by Atkins, but overall he did very good.

Hines and wilkins were very active. Hines caught everything Luck threw him moving the chains.

Hines looked far from the bust some proclaimed him. Wilkins looked ok, didn't have a ton of room to run. Nelson held his own against Atkins, he did not give up the sack but did have a holding penalty. Leonard was the leading tackler and looked really good. Turay had some really good pressure at times but also a bone headed horsecollar penalty.

Hines looked exactly like what we got him for. Receiving back who does damage in the passing game along with some nice little runs.

Hines was very good actually few times he caught the ball, and he was tackled hard I thought he is gonna fumble now like preseason game, but he was actually very well. Wilkins was ok did not see much as I was expecting more. Nelson was good. Leanord very good.

Unless I missed something, and I could have because I was switching back and forth between red zone and the game, Basham was invisible. I don’t remember seeing him getting any pressure or getting his name called.

I saw a special teams tackle, that's about it.
