Sporting events you've been to

I haven't been to many sports games but I've been to one Colts game and one Pacers game. They were both preseason games. Still was fun though.

I can't beat PT's list but I've been to some. 

 

Baseball

Mets -- many times since 1992; one year I went to over 20 games, but I go to one or two a year now.

 

Spring Training-- Mets, in southern Florida

 

I have also been to a few Yankees games but it has been a while.

 

Minor league baseball: Mets in Binghamton, NY in 1992

 

NFL -- Vikings in MN, DC, Atlanta in last 3 years; Giants, at least one game a year since 2014; Jets, about 7 games since 1996

 

NBA basketball -- about 3 or 4 Knicks games

 

Hockey -- 1 game (I am not a hockey fan)

 

College Basketball -- in college and later at Madison Square Garden (saw Indiana, Temple, and some other teams)

 

Tennis -- I used to go to the US Open but it has been a while since I was last there.   

 

I'd like to attend a round of a golf tournament.

In my younger days caught a bunch of Orioles games in Baltimore. Have seen Marlins games in Miami, several Yankee games in miami.

 

Seen 1 Miami Heat game.

 

Seen bunch of Dolphin games too. Caught some Colts games vs Dolphins including a couple with my favourite Bert Jones.

    Several School field trips, Dad is a UE athletic alum, little sister played Softball at KWC, went to USI(student tickets)

   

 

      Princeton is in a cradle of colleges

I love going to sporting events! I have been to see the Colts several times at the old RCA/Hoosier Dome and 3 times at Lucas Oil Stadium. I have been to several Indiana Pacers games, 2 Chicago Bulls games at the United Center. I saw the Bulls play against the Atlanta Hawks in the Georgia Dome. I have been to an Atlanta Falcons game in the Georgia Dome. I have seen a couple of IU games at Assembly Hall and a couple of Vanderbilt basketball games. I have seen a few Ft. Wayne Tincaps games (great minor league ballpark). I have been to baseball games at Riverfront Stadium in Cincinnati, Guarantee Rate Field and Wrigley Field in Chicago. There is nothing quite like watching an event live. 

 

If you are looking for an inexpensive live sporting event to attend I would highly recommend going to see the Chicago White Sox on a Sunday. They discount everything. I took my dad, brother, and nephew to see the White Sox vs. the Cleveland Indians last year and got 4 tickets and parking for $50. We had a blast. They have been doing this the few seasons and it really is a good time and about the same price as taking a group to the movies.
