Does anyone know why Donte decided?or might not be going to the Bengals? Do you think the Colts are still looking at him? It would be great if we gave him a better deal or talked some sence into coming here.

All i know is he was a beast at USC!! Im not sure on his coverage capabilities but i know the guy can lay the lumber!

He was a monster his junior year, and everyone had very high expectations for his senior year. He was exposed in coverage and his draft stock lowered. People were talking about putting some weight onto him and turning him into a linebacker for his rookie year, but the 49ers chose him as a safety due to his speed. He is a pure ATHLETE, but he needs some polishing to complete his game.

I have a feeling both the 49ers and Taylor himself would ask too much from us to spend on a pure special teamer. He would dominate though!
