Bring on Harold Landry!

He's the last pass rusher with elite bend available in this draft in my opinion, and although many people are saying he only fits a 3-4 as an OLB, I've read that he excelled when he had his hand in the dirt as a pass rush specialist. Unless Ballard sees big things from Basham, this guy needs to be the future phenom pass rusher for this defense.

I like the hell out of him but he reminds me a lot of Jerry Hughes, that can be taken either way!

Obviously....   I'm hoping for Landry...   but there are three picks before us ...   two for Cleveland and one for the NYG...

 

Its hard to see those teams passing in Landry...    I hope I'm wrong..

Do not like him.  IMO, more 3-4 OLB than 4-3 DE.  Remember, we are running a 4-3 and DE has to be able to set the edge in the run as well as pass rush

If we had Wynn at 12 last night and picks 53 and 56 tonight to pick other players, I'd say yes. 

 

If he can play SAM, I say yes.

 

Absent that I think we need to get the holes at CB and LB plugged with athletic starters immediately and let Simon, Basham, and Sheard handle the pass rush for a year.

 

Nice player and love to have him, but guys like Landry come out every year, don't they?

I had seen that a couple sources believe the Browns are looking at OL and RB with their 33 and 35 picks, and the Giants are also looking Ol with the 34 pick. So Hernandez, Williams, or another O-lineman could be gone as well as a RB. Of course this is all speculation, but it seems that there could be a good chance that Landry could be there for the Colts, provided he fits their defensive scheme and checks out medically.

Thats a nice list.   CB, 3 tech, ILB, WR, and I say Shaq Griffin for WILL in round 4.  I think Miller is off the Board for the Colts...weed I think...so St Brown might work there.
