Barkley/Chubb/Nelson or Bills #12, #22 and #56

Barkley/Chubb/Nelson or Bills #12, #22 and #56

  1. 1. Draft day scenario: (Top 4 of 5 QB's are gone at #5) or (one of Mayfield/Rosen/Allen are available at #6) while one of Barkley/Chubb/Nelson are also available. Bills panic and offer the Colts picks #12, #22 and #56, what would you do?

    • Take Bills Trade (#12, #22, #56)
    • Decline trade only if Barkley is available
    • Decline trade only if Chubb is available
    • Decline trade only if Nelson is available

I think the chances of getting all that from Buffalo are not very good....

Perhaps LESS than 50-50.

What if they only offered #12 and #22 what would you do?

I'd inquire about what their offer would be if we wanted picks both this year AND next year.

Personally I'd like 12 and one of their 2nd round picks this year...   plus their 1 and 3 next year.   That would be my goal.   I'd be curious what Buffalo would do....

Ballard wouldn't turn that deal down...and neither would I.

That being said, I would let them keep a pick this year and take next year's 1st.

like you said in the other thread, which qb is worth that?

with the 6th overall pick they are not even getting their first choice most likely

If you think about it......... Buffalo, Miami, NE, AND Arizona, KNOW that we ARENT going to take a QB

They could let it "float" let us pic our guy and offer TB, Chicago, and even Miami a lesser trade.......

We could tell them we have counter offers.... BUT

I dont see us getting a HUGE draw from this pick..... They need to build a team as well.

I think the best we get, would be 12, maybe a 3rd, and maybe a 2nd, this year or next.

I think we may very well stay put........

If Chubb is there.... you draft him.... at 6

he is someone that is a difference maker, and someone that you have to gameplan for

If Chubb is gone.... I go Edmunds.... with pick 6

He is someone that is a difference maker, and someone that the offenses will have to gameplan for

(Maybe not year one)

I would ask for #12 and #56 and 2019 1st round, if Ballards primary guys arent there. We still get 5 guys in 2 rounds and start stacking picks next yr

Just thinking 5 of the top 60 picks coming to the SHOE is an amazing haul and immediate upgrade to 5 starting positions

i dont know, our history with second and third round picks isnt all that great

even last year i would not have called wilson an instant week one upgrade

The only way I see us trading back for more picks is if barkley, Nelson and Chubb are gone ... and there are too many teams that want/NEED a QB. Barkley and Chubb have a chance of being gone but I honestly see us grabbing Nelson now at 6.

I think he could have been with more playing time early, i have always been a colts guy, and it seemed alot of guys wasnt used to the best of the team last yr ( dont know if its coaches or lack of confidence)

This would be 700+ points over the value chart to get the 3 picks from Buffalo, but I believe we got 600 over value for the Jets trade, I think it could be possible if 1 of the top 4 qb's are left. But yes, I would take that trade, and then, if possible, trade one of the 2nd rounders for a 1st next year

Wow.  There are people who are actually saying to decline that much of a haul to take either Chubb or Barkley......a 7.37 non explosive DE or a 234 scat back.  Just wow.

Wow, what a scenario. This is harder than on Madden lol

TBH, if Barkley/Chubb/Nelson is there, You cannot trade down imo.

If Chubb is there at 6 I'm running the card up.

I would consider the trade if Chubb is gone and Barkley and/or Nelson is on the board. It would heavily depend on the compensation.  If the Bills were desperate enough to give us both 1's and at least a 2nd next year, I'd probably take it.

Chubb is not explosive?  That's whack, man.  He tested very well in the vertical and broad jump.  He's plenty explosive - and it shows up on film - but what he si not is elite level when it comes to flexibility off the edge.
