You don't have to wait to make your pick.

Yes, this is correct.

The timings are only suggested times, should the GM not be available right away. PMs are always welcome. @crazycolt1 is also helping me on and off, so you can PM the picks to me and him should you not be available.

@21isSuperman can you pin this thread as well? You can unpin the GM sign up thread. Thanks

I'd hate to be the first guy up, with such a short (by necessity) notification.  I don't pick until tomorrow, and I'm already a nervous wreck that I might miss my time!

Do you suggest we move the draft till tomorrow then? I am flexible.

The others can chime in too. I am trying to please everyone but I know it would be utopian to expect that. :)

can we trade future picks and players or are we restricted to just this year's picks

Just this year's picks.

Do you guys want an extra day to mull over trades etc.? I can start the draft tomorrow since everything seems rushed today.

No, but I would be flexible with our start time.  He may be in the same boat I am.  I can't get my phone app to recognize that I'm logged into FB.  Thus, unable to post if I'm at the office.  (Working from home today!)  He may be reading all of this, and unable to answer.  I'd be willing to give him a bit of a chance to post.

Does a time of noon work? Just thinking out loud if we want to stay flexible and have the round 1 picks today. That is as far as I am willing to push. @SolidGold did visit the site around 7 am time frame, so I am sure he can pay a visit by noon.

Can you imagine having the 1st and 4th picks, and the community made both of your picks before you were able to log in to post them yourself?  Yargh!

Sounds good. I will give him till noon. I feel that would be reasonable.

I have updated the timings to give him till noon. I am sure we will catch up.

That may be a good idea. To let those interested in trades to make their offers overnight?  I remember SolidGold saying the #1 pick was up for trade earlier.

Makes no difference to me but it might work better letting everyone think about this before submitting trade offers.

Alright then, executive decision- Round 1 starts tomorrow at 8 am. Have trades and picks ready then. :)

Updated title of thread. Thanks for your input. I was leaning towards it but wanted a few more to nudge me along.

I would get an updated draft pick list - you have two different lists above, and the nfl trade value chart link above is also out of date (i.e. the Bills 1st round picks are currently #12 and #22 and the Bengals are picking #21 - from the Cordy Glenn trade).  I used the draft tek chart - https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp?RequestTeam=buf

Good catch. It's tough for Chad to get all this together and lead a normal life. :huthut:

Remember if you cant make your draft time you can submit a few players in the order you want them in a queue either to Chad, OPC, WarGhost or me. Or right out in view. Your pick will be covered.

Cardinals are open to moving up from No.15 if the right QB is there but unfortunately cannot move up too much due to little draft equity. However, they are willing to hear out a few offers - willing to give up a 1, 2 and 3rd round compensatory pick to move up, so PM me if you are ahead of me and like those picks or make alternate offer.

Here is the Top 200 (taken from drafttek, this is just a handy reference with the player's alternate position also listed). Please use your judgement and other sites like nfl.com or nfldraftscout.com as well, here is the list:
