Mehh....group consensus and a general feeling from Ballard is taking OL or RB at the top of the draft isn't really a thing for us. Adequate candidates available thru the 2nd. And it's looking more and more likely Chubb will be drafted before us. Add to that the number of holes we have to fill and the lack of free agency action it appears we're looking for quantity a little more than quality. Just my opinion.

You can't exactly predict how trades will fall though

Someone is going to have to explain the Vander-Esch to the Steelers thing to me, because I’ve that mock projection more times than any other pick. I understand the need for a replacement for Shazier but why is it always him to the Steelers? Have they shown particular interest in him? Just curious.

I honestly almost had them going with Carlton Davis or Ronnie Harrison too. Pending how the draft falls Rashaan Evans might be their pick too.

LB is a need and Vander Esch is one of the best available at that spot.

Chubb making it to #6 is just wishful thinking IMO. I'd put the chances at 10% or less.

The only team I think will take him is Giants if he makes it past them I could see him landing at 6.

I personally see Cleveland at 4 being just as likely.

That kind of depends on what the Giants do. If Giants select Barkley I could see it but not if they select anybody else.

In fact if Barkley makes it to 6 at all would be a miracle and would be a HUGE steal at 6.

Imagine a world where we get 3 extra 2s trading down and still land Barkley.

That's the dream...
