I hate to say it but if the Colts do not go secondary the first 2 rounds, the round 3 pick almost has to be someone for the secondary, don't you think?

I look at the good playoff teams like the Packers, Patriots, and even Steelers to an extent with secondary deficiencies, I believe there will be a run on good corners at the end of round 2. The Colts may be better off for that reason to trade down from No.34 and get some value in middle of round 2 unless there is great value at No.34, which was the case here with Fletcher Cox.

I would love it if we were able to get Luck, Cox, and Bentley with our first three picks

Yea, corner is a big need. And talent falls off quite a bit.

We will also need WR and in our mock there was some good runs on them too. (really need them bad if Garcon and Regie both gone)

I'm a big fan of Marvin Jones and Devier Posey in the fourth if they make it to us

I was really banking on Ronnel Lewis falling to me. After he was taken I had a hard time seeing the Ravens pick a OT at that position that was actually worth the pick and I also thought picking a center there would be a reach. The Polk vs Martin part was somewhat easier than I thought because I got to see them both in the combine. Atleast to me Martin looked more like the complete RB than Polk.

We should do a 3rd and 4th round tomorrow.

If you can organize it with the same format, go ahead. My time availability will be very limited tomorrow. Sunday, however, might work in the afternoon, around 2 p.m. ET for me. If you are looking for a time tonight, at 10 p.m. ET, I can participate as well.

Just have to make sure to constantly keep updating the list of picks and copying it close enough to the picks being made so that it is easier for the posters to get a quick glance. Not to mention, still have your head on a swivel to make your own picks :).

I copied the draft order from here:

I'd be down for rounds 3 and 4 but for me, it would have to be about the same time as today because of my work...sunday afternoon wouldn't work for me but I imagine you guys could easily find a replacement

The thing is, once u get that far in the draft, it is a lot easier to keep track of ur picks if u keep the same team and not having to look back at who was drafted for them earlier by someone else. A lot easier to stay organized that way with ur picks.

I agree. That is why, maybe next time, we need to find how best to assign teams to posters while doing a new mock.

I will do another mock draft a week before the real draft, maybe I will do it that way then.

This one, it might be best to leave it as it is, with just 2 rounds. We persevered and got it done :)

Yea. I will try to figure out the best way to divide teams to 8 ppl to make it as fair as possible.

I agree. Any more rounds of this one and Ill end up drafting guys twice to two different teams lol

Yeah if we did a full fledged 7 round mock, I'd rather each of us just have 4 teams to draft for.

Thats what Im thinkin... A 7 round draft would be exhausting tho! There is a reason they split the draft into 3 days lol... But I'll give it a shot.

That works for me. But instead of just going in regular alphabetical order we need to reverse it each round so that the person that picks first overall gets the Raiders and not the person that had to pick last.

We want everyone to have close to the same # of picks.

Good job on the draft you guys.

Couple surprises:

Stephen Hill over Kendall Wright.

Matt Kalil falling to the 5th pick.

Zack Brown in the top ten. He is projected late first to early second.

Kendall Reyes in the late first.

Anyhow, I like the colts first two picks (Luck and Cox).

I really like Hill's potential. I would take him over Wright.

The Vikings actually need more help in the secondary than on the oline when you look at them, so Claiborne was a good pick for them.

Zach Brown was a pretty big reach I felt.

Reyes went right about where I had him.

haha, That was all me.

I figured, there was 10x more depth at OL then at CB and Vikings had no trading Room. So they could have gotten Mike From Ohio State or Osleme which is who I picked. Also, I researched thier O-line Stats and they are kinda high in sacks allowed but are great in Hits, Rushing to the Left and Right and all other Catagories.

Zach Brown Is gonna go way higher than Projected, especially after his pro day. His speed and production are under rated. Chiefs aren't gonna buy the Dontari Poe hype, Brockers gone, I can't pass a Johnson Clone. Chief Fans have been screaming all year for another LB with Johnson. If there aren't any surprises in the Draft than it's probably not a good mock.

Kalil was a consequence of me passing with the Vikings.

Bears are gonna get Stephen Hill, I can almost taste it.
