I think the Patriots as we have come to know them are done.  Watch what happens.

I don't know if I can call NE done quite yet C1788, but if McDaniels & Patricia keep taking all their coaching assets away even BB will struggle with an empty sideline cupboards with only a couple yrs left with Brady at the helm.

I do find it funny that all these coaching staffs hires in INDY are being made without the official McDaniels press conference taking place first like a grand reveal. Very 'Keyser Soze-ish' [A The 'Usual Suspects' movie reference.]

"The great trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist."

Yeah I know, Josh will do his thing soon. SW1 is just poking fun at the 'evil empire' NE rhetoric will I still can.

Exactly. People like to hold onto the negative things too much. Do 100 good things but only talk about the one negative.

Welcome to the coaching world

Yeah, both IF4L & PT are right. I was harsh in my criticism of both Pagano & especially Caldwell toward the end of their coaching tenures in INDY. I regret some of the things I said about both men. I really liked Jim in Detroit & I want nothing but success for Chuck back in Baltimore. I just get upset when I see my Colts commit mental errors like false starts at home drives me nuts.

I think once I decide that a coach has taken us as far as they can I go into they gotta go mode because I want rings so badly. Yeah I know, I didn't win a ring & yes, it is selfish to be greedy & measure success only by rings but that's all I care about bling.

Anyway, being a good community role model has value sure. But all we want is validation that Luck is a made man i.e. SB winner. Please Josh take us home & do what Irsay brought you here to do. I know; I know. Pace myself.

Everyone rips Chuck a new one for a SPTeams call he wasn't even for, so if that is the case then lets rip BB for the silly reverse. Silly isn't it - I am being sarcastic but if Chuck gets blamed because he's the HC then BB has too as well

I played for and worked for a coach who would make personnel and play changes and even play calling duties on the fly if he had issues with stuff

If the Pats lose all of these guys, who are they replacing them with? Slim pickings right now.

I still think they will be fine for at least 1 more year but if they lose in the Playoffs next season, they will be out of gas IMO. Tommy is now in his 40's and BB has been around a long time. Next season with them will show us a lot. They still made the SB and although they lost, lets not carried away and say they are done yet.

They’ll promote from within. Also, I hear Greg Schiano could get the DC job.  He was who I expected McDaniels to bring in as DC...  I guess Greg is still tight with Bill.

They do not have the depth they once had

Wow...if true there may be some fire to the smoke in New England.    Their Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Coordinators are all getting out of dodge. This lateral move by Judge raises an eyebrow. Pats dynasty might be crumbling before our very eyes.

This is exactly what I was thinking. As soon as they traded Jimmy G, it made perfect sense for McDaniels and Patricia to get out. With Judge's contract up, he could stay with a team that looks to have peaked and doesn't seem to have a bright future, especially with the reported BB and Kraft/Brady schism and no backup plan for a 40 year old Brady, or come with Josh to a team with some talent and on the rise.

Wait, the same foolish guy who on the Tampa Bay Bucs went full speed against Eli & the Giants on a kneel down gaming ending play?

Yeah, I know I need to let that go, but man was he stupid. You wanna be famous not infamous Greg. Just saying. You never wanna injure players on a pointless play with no time left on the clock in the regular season.

I will never forget that mindless stunt. Ever.

He ordered or approved that move from the sidelines & never apologized for it afterward to Tom Couglin either. If he had, I would wash this under the bridge, but I can't since he never said "You know, I regret doing that. My bad. I'm really sorry. I've learned since then."

Colts haters.

I bet you it’s all Boston fans. And with them being extra salty from getting fried by Nick Foles, and losing Patricia, I’m sure they’re throwing all types of false info out. The thought of their top OC going to the Colts probably sickens them.

Perhaps. But if the trio of Hoodie, Kraft and Brady are all still there, they'll be back in the playoffs next year for sure.

Don't like that trio AT ALL and I'll leave it up to you to figure out why. Hint: they are the opposite of their team name. All three of them.

I think that was their last Super Bowl for awhile.  Brady won’t win another.

That is Bill Belichicks fault, isn't he the HeadCoach? Chuck gets blamed for the fake Punt doesn't he? So it's all Bill's fault then for the ol reverse lmao

The difference between Chuck and Bill is Bill has been to 8 Super Bowls as a head coach and won 5 Lombardis. That gives Bill a lot more leeway on allowing his staff to call plays like that. When I think of Belichick I think of winning. I can't say the same thing about Chuck.

    • Once again running out time to put out a complete list of both offense and defensive players and where I have them ranked among their peers.  Common theme from original pre-college Week 1 many of the top players are not even listed or have fallen sharply after around 4 weeks of playing.    2025 NFL Draft QBs Cam Ward - Miami (FL) - Ward’s 3x300 games in a row have earned him 3-straight 90.0+ passing grades.  Jaxson Dart (MISS)  Diego Pavia (Vandy) - after 4 weeks and is R2 in the SEC ahead of Ewers, Manning, Milroe, Nussmeier, and Carson Beck.  Thrown 6 TDs no INTs, recovered 3 teammate fumbles. Ben Wooldridge (Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns) Noah Fiftia (Arizona)  KJ Jefferson (UCF) Tyler Shough (Louisville)  Cam Miller (NDST) Kyle McCord (Syracuse)   2025 NFL Draft OL LG Michael McAninch (Air Force) - After 3 weeks has a 91.7 overall season grade with a 92.4 RB grade.  Proved he can hold up to Baylor didn’t allow any QB pressure. RT Tyler Needham (Rutgers) 6’4” 306-pounds – After 3 weeks been dominant.  On 48 PB snaps only given up 1 QB hurry. LT/RT/OG Grey Zabel (North Dakota State) RT Lucas Scott (Army) 6’3” 305-pounds – After 3 weeks has an 85.2 RB grade.  Figure the Army trains more hand-to-hand combat and could be decent in PB game as well. LG Joshua Gray (Oregon State) LG Donovan Jackson (OSU) - good to see Jackson play again and display his dominance in his return to action. OT Wyatt Milum (West Virginia) RG Luke Kandra (Cincinnati) RG Tate Ratledge (Georgia LT Kelvin Banks Jr (Texas) LG Dylan Fairchild (Georgia) LT Percy Lewis (Auburn) 6’7” 355-pounds – After 4 weeks on 85 snaps has a 78.5 grade as a backup. OC Jake Slaughter (Florida) LT Josh Simmons (OSU)   2025 NFL Draft RBs RB/WR-KR Brashard Smith (Southern Methodist) 5’10” 196 pounds - Smith already has 17 missed tackles, 3rd most among all college RBs. RB Ashton Jeanty (Boise St) 5’9” 215-pounds  RB Quinshon Judkins (OSU) 6’0 219-pounds RB Jonah Coleman (Washington) RB RJ Harvey (UCF) 5’9” 208-pounds RB Ja’Quinden Jackson (Arkansas) 6’2” 233-pounds – Issues fumbling RB Treveyon Henderson (OSU) 5’10” 208 pounds RB Devin Neal (Kansas) 5’11” 215 pounds RB Omarion Hampton (UNC) 6’0” 220 pounds RB Nicholas Singleton (PSU) 6’0” 227 pounds RB Jo’Quavious “Woody” Marks (USC) 5’10 208-pounds   2025 NFL Draft WRs WR-Z Tai Felton (Maryland) WR-X Tre Harris (Mississippi) WR-X Ricky White (UNLV) WR-SL Nick Nash (San Jose State) WR-X Tetairoa McMillian (Arizona) WR-Z Kobe Hudson (UCF) WR-SL Kaedin Robinson (App St) WR-SL Xavier Restrepo Miami (FL) WR-X Andrew Armstrong (Arkansas) WR-M/ST PR-KR Jaylin Noel (Iowa St) WR-X Jayden Higgins (Iowa St) WR-Y Emeka Egbuka (OSU)   2025 NFL Draft TE TE Harold Fannin Jr. (Bowling Green) - outproduced rest of TE class against top 25 ranked teams and single-handedly beat PSU.  Prior to week 4 R1 I total yards (204) and YAC with 131. TE Tyler Warren (PSU) TE Jalin Conyers (Texas Tech) - After 3 weeks has an 83.7 overall PFF grade and with Texas Tech excelling in run-blocking. TE Brant Kuithe (Utah) TE/WR Oronde Gadsden II (Syracuse) TE Colston Loveland (Michigan) TE Terrance Ferguson (Oregon) TE Jake Briningstool (Clemson)
    • Josh Allen Buffalo bills.  Super raw passer but big body with wheels.  It can happen just not easy or likely to happen
    • Thanks NFL for another typical primetime NFL LEast matchup. We learned both teams suck as bad as we thought they did
    • You guys remember "Suck for Luck"?  Well, if the Colts stay on this trend,  you will hear of "planning for Manning". 😂
