I think some people are buying into the media hype that we don't care about Manning. I don't know what Indiana some people live in but majority of people here that I know DON'T want Manning gone. At the same time many realize he's getting down to the end of his career, coming off multiple neck surgeries and you have an opportunity to get Luck or RGiii. Definitely have to agree that calling people disgusting sheep isn't helping their effort .

Jim Irsay really doesn't have a choice, IMO. Let's say the Colts draft Luck and PM isn't cleared by the Drs. to play. So Luck starts and mid-way thru the season, PM is ready to play. So does Luck come out and PM in? You gotta be kidding. So PM would stay on the sidelines while Andrew finishes the season at QB.

Does anyone think PM would be quite agreeable to standing on the sideline while his replacement finished the season under QB? No weigh.

If Manning isn't cleared, why would Irsay not release him? If Manning was signed even though he hadn't yet been cleared and Luck started the season, why wouldn't we pull him in favor of Manning? You made some wild assumptions there, seeblu. Simply because there's no way we pay Manning $28 mm and don't play him if we can't, nevermind the fact that he's a better NFL QB at this point than is Luck.
