haha love how Collinsworth throws in the 2 plays that went the Eagles way at the end to throw shade on it. As if the Pats have not had a million and two plays go their way in the last 20 years, this guy needs to be taken off the air

He is a Brady drooler.

Gosh, I'm unreasonably happy. If only the Falcons hadn't collapsed or the Seahawks had ran the ball.. all of this GOAT talk wouldn't be..

Oh well

THE PATRIOTS LOSE (or the eagles win..)

YAY!

Please keep saying that.

Its really something..because there's no chance he will QB the Eagles next season.

I'd retire if I was him. There's nothing more for him to do

well... he'll probably get a big contract in this free agency I would guess...so I think he'll stick around. Money talks

Wait a minute, speaking of curse.

Well, technically he didn't get injured, so only partially a curse... or did he if you count the thumb? Hmm...

The thumb was the beginning of the end. It’s going to be a VERY enjoyable spring and summer knowing they lost :)

I'm not just saying this now that Brady has been crushed, I was really thinking over the course of this game, forget Brady and get Cris Collinsworth to retire. He is the biggest *, and the biggest mouth full of Brady's jockstrap I've ever seen even though he took a few mouthfulls of Timberlake's tonight also.

The Pats were winning the dang game and he's all THE PATS NEED A TURNOVER OR A SACK OR SOMETHING! Then he's all THIS GAME WAS BETTER THAN JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE! I mean...???

Saying the game was better than Justin Timberlake was not setting a high bar

I really really like Carson Wentz...player and man especially when he came out about his Facebook posts...but dang that poor guy has a tough act to follow now. He may end up being Eagles greatest qb of all time someday in yards tds etc....but may still always be #2 in Eagles fans lore to Nick.

All this time everyone was worried about Tom vs Time but they should have worried about Tom vs Foles. That kid deserves a cold beer...played a perfect game.

Nick Foles this bud for you!

Hahaha congrats Eagles! Happy for Nicky Foles. What a game.

Kinda karma for the difference to be Ertz's 'Jesse James' catch. Tough loss but I won't feel sorry for em.

So Eli and Nick Foles are now legends to colts fans haha

Yep. He was going to retire. I think Philly re-signs him and keeps him as a backup. Did Hostetler get to play much after he won? I can’t remember.

He played in Oakland.

I know we are all reveling in Pats miss but Tom played better in this loss then I think in any win he has had in a SB. Just goes to show it’s still a team game.

He threw for over 400 yards and 2 TDs  and the O scored 33on the best D in the NFL. This game was lost because the Pats D couldn't stop the Eagles at all.

He had the ball to win it with more than enough time. He threw some atrocious passes (made a few good ones too). Ultimately he has to live by the standard many have anointed him with, which means he couldn’t get the yards with enough time.

He started with the Raiders for awhile. It was the LA version not Oakland .

Basically, Josh McDaniels called a near perfect game... and now McDaniels belongs to us! Eat it, Pats fans! Lions, enjoy your awful defense!

Agreed. I hope this shows Pats fans that this is the ultimate team game. A near Herculean effort still came up short.

The Eagles looked coached and well rehearsed while NE looked human for the first time in a long time. That hail Mary almost worked on a fluke catch. Congrats Philly. Don't burn your town down.

But, if we go by the 'Peyton Manning standard' his numbers are just for his own glorification..

He missed open receivers in the first half and fumbled away his team's last chance..

He's lost 3 Super Bowls..Only 2 in history have lost more.  he has trouble in the biggest game

That standard is unfair but its what Manning was judged by

Tom Brady just lost to Nick Foles in the Super Bowl.  Gotta love it! Way to go Nick!

He's a backup QB and didn't have to give up his life to beat Brady.

This is the beginning of the end for that dynasty. They are already being picked apart. Next several months will be interesting.

He was benched all game.  Belichick said it was a coach's decision, but there's gotta be more to it than that.  Your best DB was on the bench when your defense was getting picked apart left and right

    • Good....   They have no one to blame but themselves.... because Antonio Brown is a head case the likes of which we haven’t seen since Terrell Owens.... and they knew it.   Talk about high maintenance? He makes the space shuttle look like a paper airplane.
    • If we keep 6, and a 3rd X, he might be a bit better WR than Pascal, but the overall net/net would be negligible.   Inman would not be #3 this year. He might be the 3rd X if we kept 3 Xs, but at best he'd be 5th or 6th. Inman was #2 or #3 last year because we had a cluster at X. The Pats don't even have high quality depth, and Inman struggled there. Don't get me wrong, I love Inman for his contribution last year, but he's not a true #2 or #3.    At the beginning of the year, I'd bet you're likely going to see  1. TY 2. Funch 3. Rogers 4. Cain 5. Campbell   By the end of the year, I'd bet you're likely going to see 1. TY 2. Cain 3a. Campbell 3b. Funch 5. Rogers   Funch will start out as primary X, but you're going to see Funch play more and more slot as the year goes along. We're likely going to see Cain and Funch on the field at the same time. Roger's snaps will decrease as Funch slides to slot more often and as Campbell matures.   I wouldn't mind Inman over Pascal at #6 (if we keep 6), but overall you're only getting a little bit better/mature 3rd X, and you'd be cutting your experienced KR.   I don't expect Rogers to be here next year, but he's a lock IMO at this point. He's the only experienced slot in our system, and with Campbell missing so much, it's getting more and more unrealistic to think he won't be here to start as slot. He's also the only guy that has experience at Z (now that Fountain is gone) and has backed up TY. Ideally you also want you're 4th-6th WR to be the one taking PRs.   I hope they keep in contact with Inman, and even bring him to camp in case we need help this year due to injuries. It's pretty unlikely he makes the 53 though.
    • Mark Davis wont fire Jon Gruden anytime within the next few years after giving him a 10 year, $100 million contract. (Yes, coaches contracts are almost always fully guaranteed).
    • Walker was signed in 2017 as a UDFA. The Colts can have up to 4 players with 2 years experience on the PS. The remaining 6 can only have one or less years of experience IIRC.
    • If he can lay off all banned substances... who knows, maybe not too far out there.   He will be tested a boatload though.
