there are 2 teams in the playoffs who got there 2 different ways.  The Pats made moves like the OP is talking about, while the Jags stayed put every year and kept picking blue chip players.  The Jags have the more talented defense, but the Pats know how to use the talent they have. It depends on our next coaching staff and if their schemes are sound enough.  Right now, I would have to have a future 1st round or I wouldn't do it.  But I really like the idea.  Tempting.
