Time for your opnion on how to fix the our Colts!

This year I beleive our focus should be on offense. 

OL- draft a tackle, maybe move Kelley to OG, and put Boyd starting C. Let Vuj, Clark go, keep Haeg, and Good.

WR - sign a #1 through FA, maybe Dez, keep Rogers, let Moncrief go.

RB- resign Gore, draft 1 late, and give Mack more carries.

TE- I have no idea, draft or FA

 

Defense-

Draft db, resign Butler, keep Bostic, let Morrison go, try to draft 1 of the first ilb off the board. Continue upgrading pass rush.

Resign AV

Kelly is a stud at Center. You don't move the one quality piece you have. 

 

 

That said, the rest of the OL needs to be backups at best. I'd sign/draft as many new OL as possible.

Kelly is good where he is, why would we move him.

Dez hasn't had a good season for years

Butler will be gone, Colts need more of an experienced FS/SS to back up Hooker/Geathers, which could be a draft need. Gotta keep Kelly as C it would be dumb to move him around. Vuj, person are ok backups, but Haeg, Good, Mewhort, Clark, Castanzo should be let go! Castanzo not as much as these other OL, but ACs replacement should be a priority in the draft/FA! Nelson or that other OL from Notre Dame would be great additions!!! Keep Gore for 1 more year, I think a replacement for Turbin could be had, and that not be Matt Jones or Turd Ferguson. All Wrs not named TY should be shown the door, I think Colts should go hard after Jarvis Landry instead of Dez! Then draft say Simmie Cobbs from IU(Im a Hoosier homer). Colts are set with Doyle, Travis, and swoope but wouldnt be sad if they drafted that TE out of Wisconsin! All inside LBs need to be axed, and Id be happy if Colts drafted Chubb. Simon is a keeper along with Woods, Hankins, Sheard and Hunt! Need to resign Melvin and desir, and bring in 2 more DBs from FA/draft that can be more than reliable. AV and the Spanish version of Boomstick are good for another few years!

 

All in all, I see a bunch of changes being made like last year, which is definately needed!

Offense- keep Kelly at C, Person as backup.

Keep Castanzo at LT and draft a RT or RG

Keep Good, Mewhort on cheap deal (due to recent injuries) keep Haeg  

Depending on draft, get another OL if they could start

 

Defense- Don’t resign Butler, release TJ Green, release Morrison

Keep all defensive lineman, monster rotation and depth there

draft a pass rusher or ILB (1st or 2nd rd)

resign Melvin to 3 year 26-33 mil deal

 

 

And find that head coach and staff!

For WR how about Jaleel Scott SMU or St. Brown ND, both have size and above average route running. Maybe 2nd day pick.

TE- Doyle, resign Swoope

T-Castanzo, Clark, Goode. Either FA or Draft Pick

G- Haeg, Draft Pick, FA, FA, Mewhort walks

C- Kelly, resign Person

 

DL-  Hankins, Hunt, Woods, Anderson Ridgeway, Stewart (all on contract through 2018)

ILB- Morrison, Walker, Resign Bostic, FA or Draft Pick

OLB- Sheard, Simon, Basham, resign Mingo, FA or Draft Pick

CB- Wilson, Hairston, Moore, Resign Melvin and Desir

S- Hooker, Geathers, Farley, FA or Draft Pick (Green set to make 1.1 mil on contract but i dont see a spot for him)

 

K- Resign Vinatieri (need to think about his replacemen soon though)

P- Sanchez

 

*Biggest areas of need for me obviously Oline and Linebackers WR not far behind, also this is assuming we keep the 3rd pick and in that case i have Barkley with the highest value i know chase me with a pitchfork out of town lol but i would be happy with Barkley.

I like Barkley, but i think solidifying the line is more important. Maybe if he falls and we trade back into the first. 

Demarius Thomas contract is up he possibly has 3-4 good years left.

The more we can pick up in FA, the more I like picking up Barkley.
