Lamey:  You don't want to let them go right down the field and score.

Me:  Thanks for clearing that up, Bob.

Enjoy it while you can. He won't be around much longer

Fortunately, we have Savage on the other side.  Hopefully that matters.

It's not going to matter, is it?

Of course the Colts give up a TD.

Told you... they'd get up 10 and collapse

No matter which way we play it, the detractors will say we should have done the opposite...

That's why a coach needs to understand the flow of the game. It's really not that hard. If you are running the ball well then you continue to run the ball and eat clock. if you're stuffed all game then you add some RB and WR bubble screens in. Any coach paying attention to the game knows what needs to be done to keep the clock moving. Too often they get stubborn and start making boneheaded calls.

21-20, take it to the bank.

Sadly, my bank doesn't reward me when the Colts blow 4th quarter leads.

Agree, but thats really on the Quality Control coach, not just the OC.  The OC follows the game plan unless the QC coach gives him the info that tells him otherwise.  Really.  I've read Pat Kirwan's book "Take you eye off the Ball, version 2.0.  Early in his career, PK was a QC coach and did just that.

I do not mind us taking a timeout there. Get the play right, and make sure everyone is on the same page.

HUGE PLAY HERE!

Not until the bye week after we get destroyed by the Steelers
