Knowing their history of cheating, why would the NFL or other ball clubs allow the Patriots to do that?

I'm pretty sure MOST people had no idea Mahomes father was a MLB pitcher until it was said when he was drafted. The kid had serious arm talent in both baseball and football, and that's what caught the "professionals" attention. 

bucs threw in his direction all day sunday , maybe didnt go in stats as a target because he was lost in space to far from the receiver, imo ballard will upgrade this position in the draft  

"When your only tool is a hammer, everything gets treated like nails." The "one-size-fits-all" approach to defense doesn't work - especially only playing Cover 2. Showing a base scheme then transitioning out of it at the snap (if you have the talent and intelligence to do it) would be much more effective.
