If we get a Top 3 pick and Barkley is there would you take him? The combo of him and Mack could be lethal with a healthy Andrew and TY+Doyle. Kelly will be healthy next year too.

How do you as a coach put faith in a sub par offense that hasn’t performed ALL day to convert a forth down when you have one of the BEST field goal kickers in the league!!! FIRE PAGANO!!!!! I’d put my faith in Vinateri first!!!!

Great everythings are picked up late.  That doesnt mean you pass up on a blue chip prospect if he's sitting right there.

That makes no sense.  Just because there are a few more diamonds in the rough than other positions, you pass up a generational talent?  No way.

Jacoby is not a Talent when  are you guys going to get that through your skulls he is a backup quarterback that's all he is that's all he will be he does not have the talent to take a team to the next level he doesn't have the NFL experience to do that the interception should have showed you the whole nother ball should have showed you he cannot get the ball to the receivers he is a joke and he's making a laughing stock of the Indianapolis Colts

You just know this team is going to pull together a mini winning streak at the end of the season and blow our top 5 draft position.  Then celebrate like they did something good.  LOL

This is why you need an NFL quarterback with some experience to make those quick decisions on the Fly Jacoby just don't have it. Until he learns how to be an NFL quarterback, we are not going to win a game... this is coaching this is Jim's fault this is Chuck's fault, and whoever the general manager is

Yes we can beat them up, and if I was Andrew I won't come back this year he will be the laughing stock of the NFL I would have a setback so bad you wouldn't see me until next June July

The ball is allowed to touch the ground.

As other have pointed out, the ground cannot be used to help secure the ball into a completion, only incidental contact is allowed.  If ball was moving or not completely secure at any point before hitting the ground, it might well be considered as the ground helping to secure the pass, thus being incomplete.

He is essentially a rookie still.  He'll make rookie mistakes.  This is Brissetts steep learning curve, plus he has plenty of tape on him for DC's to decipher.  He'll be great moving on next year as a good backup.  Every QB does better in the year following good exposure in the NFL...Only a few do exceptional year 1... Cam, Luck, Prescott, Watson...

Others take a little more time... Wentz, Goff, etc...  and all these recent picks to be starters.  JB will be fine.

Will Pagano survive one more week?

So what does Pagano have to do with todays loss? Did he throw a pick six? The Colts went into this game 10 1/5 points underdog but couldn't overcome a pick six AND the refs.

I guess that is the difference from a leader to what you would do?

What? Even Adam can't kick that long of a field goal.

I really thought the Colts were going to pull out the win(my heart was thinking that way).  My gut said, they'll find a way to blow it haha.  On a a positive note, I thought Colts +11 was a good bet.  They covered which helped me win my parlay.  Colts +11, Texans +7, Panthers +1, Cowboys -3 and Steelers -3. Now this week will probably be different, if the Texans are favored by 14 or less, I'll be forced to take them.  The Colts are a mess.  Hopefully we can build the defense up more, and put a good o line together next year.  Most of all, I hope Luck makes it back next year.

Yep. He won't be fired until the end of the season, barring a colossal collapse.

    • Don't recall patting myself on the back in this thread.  Never once said "I called this before it happened" like you did.   So you think AC is waiting on Ballard to come back from the Sr. Bowl to tell him, "Hey Anthony, we fell in love with Jordan Love down there and are going to draft him?"  And AC is now pinning his future plans on a rookie QB that may not play at all for at least a year nor is a certainty to drafted by Indy? That is what you think means by future plans?
    • I think Fromm is the type of Qb that BB would draft.  Maybe Peyton too. If Fromm passes the throwing tests (and I think he probably will), they'll take him in the first round at pick 23 and 24 respectively, IMO, if they desire a rookie QB.  I'd think BUFs pick 22 is the place to get him.   And I'm not sure that Love did a lot to resolve any decision making questions.  We know he can throw.  I know we all want the next Mahomes, but I can see BB or Peyton having Fromm ranked higher than Love in the end. Never know, Love might be available at pick 25, then we compete with the other teams who didn't get a QB in early round 1 to move up to take Love in late round 1.   I think Eason is the guy who is going to have too many unresolved questions, or definitive weaknesses that take time to develop, both throwing and mental.  I see him as being the only QB other than Gordon available at 34, and Gordon probably not below 44.
    • I doubt anyone will need to beg. He's only 31. Even if he played another 4 years, he'd be 35. That's still very young. He commented that he's never felt healthier, so doubt injury or QoL is a big part of the thought process. If he's no longer passionate and doesn't need the money, great... I just think he will look at the situation, weigh things, and come back.
    • I have ALWAYS thought that accuracy, instinct, and pocket awareness were the best traits I look for in a QB.  Remember, although his arm wasn't exactly "weak", Peyton's arm strength probably wasn't in the upper echelon on the NFL.  But Peyton was SO much smarter, he could anticipate,  he could throw WR's open, and he was pretty accurate.  And once he settled in, he stopped turning the ball over so much.  I would take a QB like that over a guy who can just throw it through a wall but doesn't do those other things as well.   If we can find a guy like that whether that be in the draft or in FA, I'm all for it, no matter what his name is.
    • I get your logic and of course no one really knows what any prospect will actually do in the NFL   But.... on the surface   on paper Love has a much higher ceiling than JB Eason has a much higher ceiling than JB Gordon has a much higher ceiling than JB Even Fromm has a higher ceiling than JB   I believe Herbert, Burrows, and Tua, would outplay JB, play one, day one in NFL   Thats why I am more open to a trade that brings one of these 3 to Indy   Love will need to sit for at least a year as would the others outside of the top 3   Thats why if we use the better than JB argument than there are options available in this draft
