Hi, Colts Nation!   :)   Our 1-3 Indianapolis Colts continue honoring former Colts QB Peyton Manning as our Colts host the visiting and winless, 0-4 San Francisco 49ers  at LOS (the building).   49ers are in a rebuilding mode, with new General Manager John Lynch, and new Head Coach Kyle Shanahan.  Colts are  alsoplaying their third NFC West divisional opponent in five games.

 

Retired Colts legend Peyton Manning  earlier this weekend was immortalized with a bronze statue in front of LOS,  honoring his accomplishments as a Colt.  #18 played 14 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, and won Super Bowl Championships with both Super Bowl XLI  (41) for the Colts, and Super Bowl L (50) for the Denver Broncos.  Manning will also be honored i for his accomplishments as a Colt in today's game, and ahead for him his induction into the Pro Football Hall Of Fame in Canton, Ohio in the first ballot.

 

Current Colts incumbent QB Andrew Luck  also returned to practice last week, but Jacoby Brissett still starts for the Colts vs. the 49ers, while Andrew watches from the sidelines.

 

Today current third-year Colts running back Frank Gore also plays his first game facing his former team, the 49ers.  Gore played for San Francisco between 2005 through 2015, and was named five times into the Pro Bowl, a second team Pro Bowler while he was a 49er.

Gore also helped San Francisco to Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans, but the Baltimore Ravens defeated his 49ers 34-31.

      That was a damaging loss to say the least. Up 6-0 and can't hold it. I have been saying all year that the 1 weakness we have is our Bullpen. We have trouble holding leads and have lost way too many 1 run games.

      I agree Ross made many bad decisions, not taking any of the blame from him. Putting in PCA that early was not wise, talk about hitting slump. Hate that he got caught in that pickle too, kind of feel bad for the kid.   Sorry I should have said mid season….Suzuki struggled over the summer and was removed from the lineup for several games. Not impressed with his defense. Yeah he makes the easy catches, but always hold my breath when something challenging is hit his direction. I think Canario might be the better option, and hasn’t been given enough time. Suzuki was paid a lot of money though, and they’ll ride with him until his contract is up.

      You're right. I think the weather conditions were a factor (extra weight of the wet ball, etc) in him missing that kick.

Jags   ....gap....   10... steelers 11... Titans 12... Brownies 13... Texans 14...  Raiders   ....gap....   15 ... *Broncos 16... *Jets   *any QB Denver trots out, including Russell  Wilson, is a lot better than the jets Zach Wilson. Which is why the Broncos are ranked ahead of the jets.
