This is interesting.  ESPN came up with the 100 most famous athletes in the world, based on endorsements, social media, and internet searches.

 

The NFL has 8 players on the list, only 2 in the top 50, only 1 in the top 25, and none in the top 10:

 

#21 - Tom Brady

#47 - Cam Newton

#52 - Drew Brees

#55 - Russell Wilson

#56 - Aaron Rodgers

#60 - Eli Manning

#64 - Odell Beckham Jr.

#74 - JJ Watt

#1 was Christiano Ronaldo.  I can see the ladies searching the internet for this guy.  Repeatedly.
