Pacers are becoming a favorite of mine again. I grew up with them as a little kid in Indy but drifted away from them as we moved and I got older.

Good luck though the rest of the way. Really like Dipo.

I like teams who win close games lol. Would love to see C's/Pacers be a rivalry....it's getting testy.

BTW Rozier is a tough little dude. lmao He is one of my faves.

We actually were a powerhouse in the Reggie days, no Championships though sadly. 6 ECFinals and a Finals app. With PG 2 ECFinals but LeBron beat us. I will be curious to see how we do in the Dipo era?

Big game at Philly up next. Myles continues to give us the play I think we all expected to see all year. GR3 is getting his game on track too. We look like we are going to peak at the right time. Booker looks like a great addition. I'm going to keep saying our best ball is still in front of us. Hopefully we saw what can happen when you get sloppy and let a team hang around.

We need to tighten it up if we expect to win in Philly We were out rebounded 42-39 and 10-6 on the offensive glass. That's too many second looks and 18 turnovers is too many. I have no doubt Nate will address that. Biggest game of the year coming up.

LA is up 16 we may just be sitting 3rd rolling into the city of brotherly love. Finish Strong

I'm staying up to finish this Lakers game. Want to see if Lakers hold on and Pacers get third.

I loved Ron Artest, won't lie. I thought he was so bad aazz when I was young. lmao And then when he went to the Lakers I was WOOT WOOT.

I like bad boys at times, which is why Smart don't bother me either. He has had off the court incidents but has been under control but he is CRAZY.

Before the injuries caught up to Jermaine we were the best team in the East. We had the league covered the year the malice happened. Those dang Bulls teams then the Shaq and Kobie Lakers prevented us from getting where we wanted to be. We gave the Bulls all they wanted and then some their final run too just couldn't get over the hump

People forget just how good Jermaine O'Neal was there for a few years Injuries took their toll on him. I'll never forget when he came out of the playoff game sitting on 55 points to make sure he didn't break Reggie's record. I think Vic and crew are going to give us a nice run the next few year hopefully they can close the deal.

The Pacers are legit. Sucks we lost to the Mavs and Hawks or we would be sitting in a heck of a place.

Yeah those two games were suck feasts. I notice the Pacers show up more vs. playoff teams but lesser against these tanking aazz teams.

But you have a tough schedule left so it bodes well.

We would've won it all in 2005 IMO but the brawl happened. 1998 was the best team we ever had but we had to play Jordan. He got us in 7.

So we are 3rd now? Wow.

Yep you are third and hold the tiebreaker over Cleveland. Have to try to hold pace here though the rest of the year. Cleveland has some injury issues as well and might even have a few rest games later themselves IMO like last season.

Congrats.

I told you I would stop by from time to time lol. I can't resist some of these NBA games some weekends, too entertaining. I didn't do anything today but relax and our game and this late game was a real treat.

Glad to see IT get a little revenge. I still like Lebron and I admit I am still weary about him come playoff time lol. History says to be careful!!!

They play up and down to their competition sometimes. I think a lot of that is because its just a young team. When the Pacers are on it like tonight they are damn good.

Tomorrow's game is easily our biggest of the season. The Wiz are a game behind us and starting to miss John Wall. After a great month playing without him they are 5-5 in their last 10. Wall isn't close to returning and with their next games v Wolves @Boston v Pacers @Spurs v Den v Spurs. They have a tough road ahead.

Philly has the schedule to make a move. They play 11 of their last 17 at home. Their only games vs playoff teams vs Pacers Wolves Cavs and Bucks all at home. They currently sit 2 games back of us. If we win tomorrow and grab the tie breaker. We essentially put them 4 games back. They would need to win 4 more games then we do the rest of the way. That'd be tough even with their schedule.

We are 1-1 with Philly handling them easily in Indy 100-82 a month ago. The game in Philly back in November we lost 121-111. It was one of the most frustrating losses of the season for me. The only thing that made me crazier than 12 offensive boards 18 turnovers and missed free throws(63%) was JJ Redick going 12-18 from 3 for 31pts. It had to be his best game of the year. How we allowed JJ Redick to get up 18 3pt attempts is beyond me. That can't happen again.

We we have a great chance to hold on to home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. If we are going to make that happen we need to get the game tomorrow in Philly. We need to clean up the rebounding turnovers and free throw shooting if we are going to get it done. I think we get it done

If we can finish even 4th we would have HCA in Round 1 which is huge. I still would be ok if somehow we finished as low as 7th because we would draw Boston if that happened. Boston is beatable, especially if we steal Game 1 if we play them. I think the 2 teams that would give us the most trouble in Round 1 are the Raptors and Cavs. Cavs look bad at times but we all know how LeBron is in the Playoffs + Love will be back too. LeBron has the REFS too lmao. The Raptors are just deep and talented. They have the Guards and Big's to really give us problems.

76ers may be taking us lightly..Lance with 6 quick ones.  They turn it over big time

Ben Simmons has not made a 3-point shot all season.?

That cannot be true

We are sitting 3rd in the East beat the by 18 last time They could be taking us lightly.... Maybe just maybe we are just the better team. Simmons can't shoot very well but I too find that hard to believe.

They have more talent than we do.....that's obvuious

But they are a very cocky team......and so sloppy.....and with Collison, we are not.

I'll say it again:  Ben Simmons has not made a '3' all year? Really?

Good timeout by Nate they are heating up behind the arc. We need to close this half strong. Vic still hasn't scored. He hasn't taken a ton of shots effecting the game in other ways but will he go scoreless for the half

Do you by the logic that he;s being double and triple teamed so he is spending the first part of games trying to set up his teammates......ala LeBron.....

..or is he just tiring?

    • Yeah... Richardson needs players who can separate and who can get open deep. IMO "give the inaccurate QB a contested catch receiver with large catch radius" is one of the tropes that hasn't proven to work well. Contested catches have about 50-55% success rate even with the best of contested catch receivers and with relatively accurate QBs... now if you think AR's accuracy is not good, drop that rate even more. The best way to give a relatively inaccurate QB better chance to complete passes is to give him a WR who separates and and who is open so the QB would have more of a margin for error to throw the ball a little behind or ahead or a little higher or lower than ideal. (we are not talking about uncatchable balls here... those will be uncatchable for anyone really). In that regard, one thing I would agree about is - we need WRs who have good hands and have good ball skills.   And this is ignoring that AR has indeed been pretty good with his accuracy on passes at intermediate and long range. His biggest problem coming into the league was the short stuff and he was already showing improvements in that deparment before he got injured.    And Worthy is the WR who created the most separation from anybody in this draft :
    • Richardson  accuracy  on deep balls is his strength.  Hence why you pair an elite deep threat in worthy.
    • No.   You weren’t.   If you were the least bit sincere, we’d be having these conversations in private.  But you’ve repeatedly ignored my efforts to do that.  Your call.      Then you avoid me until I’m in an uncomfortable conversation with another poster.   You use that awkward moment as an excuse for you to come in with some sincere friendly advice.   The problem is, you’re neither sincere, nor friendly.  And you’ve been doing this for months now.  This is not new.   The pattern is clear and obvious.     And the shame of it all is that even with our different views on Ballard we have enough in common that we should be friendly.  Maybe not friends, but friendly.  You wouldn’t need to address me as “Sir.”    “Good deed going unpunished”.  You flatter yourself.     But your actions speak much louder than your words.   There’s no reason for me to trust you.  And here we are.  A real shame.
