Yeah the refs have been horse &&&t but they're just clearly being more physical.  Pacers really aren't a good defensive team so if you can disrupt their offense by being physical and playing good D this is the outcome :tvsmash:

Yeah this is a bad matchup between their defense on the pick and roll and the attention Russell Westbrook brings which allows Steven Adams to dominate. Let's see if McMillan can find some other offensive sets that get us back in the game.

Yeah it was a rough night, he was 9 for 26, 0 free throws though???  21-12 fouls.  

 

They also were beat 26-18 in assist, 17-11 in offensive rebounds, 52-42 in overall rebounds BUT still had a chance to win considering how bad they played.  Hopefully they will take their frustrations out on the Pistons Friday.  Detroit is one of those physical teams though even though they aren't that good can give the Pacers fits.

A dominant rebounding team that is good defensively will not go our way unless they have an awful shooting night.

 

I know everyone wanted this win today but don't act like the Thunder are not the superior team. Westbrook is better than anybody we have. Steven Adams is better than both of our bigs. PG is still a top 20 player.

 

Don't act like we lost to the Bulls or Hawks here.

Yeah they would probably be a top 5 team in the East for sure.

      I think it should be more like 4th and 25 but would still be against it.  It strongly favors a passing team.  A team that relies on the run much more would suffer.

      Not a bad deal for Maholmes.  If the team stays good, his endorsement deals will fill the gap.

      This doesn't help, post like this don't help us MOVE along. Which is what we need to do, it actually helps for this to "carry" on. Which isn't the ideal outcome for anyone.   Now something that happened over a week ago, has been brought back to the forefront and has the thread with 4 post(after mine here) about anything but OTA news.   Was that your doing here? No, but your response is only going to help cause it to continue, as you see from a reaction. At the end of the day you can't control who takes a shot at you, you can only control your response to them. I have appreciated the effort that I think you have exhibited in trying to show some restraint. Just asking for a little more.

      That Tennessee play caught my eye when I watched him after the draft.   I think its significant because it debunks the idea that he is just a running QB who relies on his legs to bail him out of trouble.    That play shows that he can play from the pocket. He did exactly what you want to see there. He bought himself some time and kept his eyes downfield. And the way he just rose up with that quick release and threw an absolute dart downfield? That was something only a few guys can do.   He still has a long way to go, so Im not sure I totally agree with this guy, but man does he have some things that get you excited......cant wait for the season.
