Damn, Collison's 3 was in, too bad and Bog's missed a layup. Game over now. No quit with our guys though. When a Port-O-Let plays like Larry Bird not much one can do. 12-11 now on the ol season!

That's a team we can beat......didn't do it tonight   but some of those guys wont always do what they did tonight

..Look..I'd love to pat myself on the back.....Y'all know I wanted Victor Oladipo/. I like the OKC trade.

But 36 points,  7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals.??? I cant lie.

I was hoping for about 18 a game and good 'D'    He is an all-star

We all saw him play at IU......Did anybody think he was capable of this???

Yeah, he is a lot better than I thought. When he played at IU I thought he was unreal but a lot of guys are in college. I love what I am seeing now for us in the Pro's.

We need all the wins we can get in this home game stretch.

This is really nice though after losing 2 in a row. It gives us a little breathing room between the 8th and 9th spots. Looking at all the teams I think we can definitely be an 8 seed at worse. The East is vastly better this year but we still look like one of the best 8 teams through 24 games anyway.

Pacers up 85-53 over Knicks! This is a huge win over a team we will be battling for Playoff positioning all season.

We had to win this one but there was no way we were losing to a team without their two best players. We still need to take care of business with Porzingis and Hardaway Jr. in the lineup later in the season if we want a chance at the postseason.

Still a lot of season left. I think it's too early to look at the standings.

I thought he should be capable of this didn't think it would happen guy was the 2nd overall pick no reason he can't be a superstar in this league

That's carefully worded..   'should be'    '2nd overall pick' 'no reason he cant'

Did you look at Victor in college and see this 22 ppg....multiple steal, assist,,,,rebounds guy?

Yeah he was a great college player better then some of the players taken 1st I expected him to be really good as a rookie but it didn't happen

I loved him in college..and I never looked at him as a bust because he was never bad....

O just never saw these numbers at IU

Our free-running offense contributes to some of his numbers now....but he has had a very good 20-game run here.

As long as his teammates continue to shoot well at the 3-line, he cant be cant 'double-teamed' off screens.

It should continue

Once we get 27 games in I will do my 1st trimester grades for the season (on the Pacers) like I do every year. Then you guys can rip it apart and comment on it lmao. I grade on the 1st 27, 2nd 27, and last 28. I will put a grade on each Player, our Coach, and Record once we get 27 in. If we beat Chicago tomorrow we are assured a winning record through the 1st trimester as that would give us 14 wins so that shows promise.

He needed to improve his handle and hit a NBA 3 consistently. The athletic ability was there. He was going to rebound well for a G and get his hands on the ball.

Vic continued to work and develop his game, 44% from deep this year. Our style of play is made for him. I think the year in OKC helped him. I thought he could come in a fill the stat sheet.

If the his jump shot continues to fall we haven't seen the best of Dipo. He wants to be a great player and has the drive to do it.

Bogy is a guy I think is going to continue to excel here. He can play the spot 3 pt specialist but has more to his game. He's a scorer and an all around better player then he gets credit for.

Thjs team should continue to improve. Sabonis playing a more familiar role looks like the force he was at Gonzaga. Turner gets comfortable then we get GR3 back. This could come together at a good time.

I thought we would compete for a playoff spot after the trade. The first 1/4 of the season has been encouraging. I want to see how we handle the trade deadline.

We are right in the thick of the East. It will be interesting to see if Detroit and Philly can keep it going. The Cavs on Friday is a game I'd like to see us get.

Hopefully this game shows the blind fans that we are nowhere near a top 4 team in the East. I'll be impressed with this team if they make the playoffs because I did not expect to get anywhere near that before the season.

I've seen too many Pacers fans overrating this team recently.

What did you say?  Funny you started out saying a loss then changed it.
