If the Colts had a CFN Scout preview (2017 version)

I did this the past 3 years, thought I'd do it for the upcoming 2017-2018 season.

I've always liked CFN (formerly www.CollegeFootballNews.com) previews of each team, from year to year. Detailed, but also not too lengthy to read for the average fan.

e.g. http://cfn.scout.com/2/1084517.html

If the Colts had their preview...here's what I can see.

10 best players -----

1. Andrew Luck (QB)

2. TY Hilton (WR)

3. Johnathan Hankins (NT)

4. Ryan Kelly (C)

5. Vontae Davis (CB)

6. Jack Mewhort (G)

7. Anthony Castonzo (T)

8. Donte Moncrief (WR)

9. Henry Anderson (DE)

10. Adam Vinatieri (K)

Offense -----

Star of the offense: Andrew Luck

Player who has to step up and become a star: Joe Haeg, Le'Raven Clark, and/or Zach Banner
Unsung star on the rise: Jack Mewhort

3 pro-bowl candidates: Andrew Luck, TY Hilton, Ryan Kelly

Strengths: Overall depth at all positions

Weaknesses: Lack of star RB

Defense-----

Star of the defense: Johnathan Hankins

Player who has to step up and become a star: Tarell Basham, Quincy Wilson, and/or Malik Hooker
Unsung star on the rise: John Simon

3 pro-bowl candidates: Johnathan Hankins, Vontae Davis, Malik Hooker

Strengths: Defensive line, Safety

Weaknesses: Pass rush, ILBs

You wrote the article in the link or are you saying you are just doing your take on that article and you posted it above?  Just curious.

No no, didn't write the article on the link at all. But I like it's format, CFN does it each year for each college team, so I thought I'd try that format and do it for us this year.

Article was just an example of its format.

Id even add another category, thats basically player that has to step up and earn starting role, hot seat, or something of that nature. Essentially, a guy who has had opportunities, but hasnt played as well as he needs to in order to keep starting.

On offense - Phillip Dorsett (regardless of the fact he may not be used to his strengths, we still need more from him).

On Defense - either A. Morrison or E. Jackson.
