I think Clark is our future left tackle and we will still need a right tackle. Constanzo's play has been inconsistent to say the best and he is getting older. Doubt he gets another contract from us.

I was thinking the same thing.

I liked Grover in the 5th. Not mad about it. Jake Butt's injury must not be healing as quickly as everyone hoped. Shocked he hasnt been picked yet.

Glad we picked up the extra pick. Happy with our back and the line depth in the trenches. Grab another raw athletic corner to groom later and I will be thrilled.

Calling Banner a wasted pick despite him being an OL and without having seen him play...

I have seen him play plenty. I saw him live in high school and the few years since. Don't like the pick.

Grover Stewart was one of the the risers in the pre-draft process. Tony Pauline was hyping him a ton and said he had sources saying he might go on day 2. He's an athletic freak. Look at the visits thread for more info on his pro-day. As far as I remember his numbers were incredible.

Stewart will bring competition

Ding ding ding. Langford, Anderson and company know just like everyone else they have to earn their time. Love it. There will be no special treatment. Ballard is creating competition at all positions. Love it!

history has shown players with these kind of injuries do not recovery and statistically do well post-recovery

4th round was disappointing.

They seemed like 5th and 6th round players.

Mack is definitely a guy that can take it to the house if he hits open field, dude has some wheels. Grover is has nice measurables, but will need refinement. Well see if our staff can develop some of these guys.

This might turn out to be a sneaky great pick

You haven't seen him play for the Colts, which is obviously what I referred to. Calling him a wasted pick before having seen him play for the Colts, in the NFL...

If Ballard and Philbin like him, I trust them more than you.

Bummed by Mack pick. Do not like him at all. First official Ballard pick that I dislike.

This guy is too slight and frail. He is a horrible pass blocker.  He won't hold up to the pounding of the NFL.  Florida State defense shut him down. Unproven against elite defensive talent.  And we take him.  Crap!  We got Josh Ferguson  2.0.

Can't strike gold with everything, unfortunately. There was a major run on RBs with Cohen going right before us, we traded down and Gallman goes a few picks before us. :(

    • LeBron will never catch Jordan for GOAT IMO. I personally think Magic was better by a hair over LeBron but that is another topic. Peyton is considered by most of the media 3rd best ever, some still have Montana over him = understandable.   I have the Bucs going 11-5 this year and winning their division, so I think a lot of Brady.
    • The problem for Lebron is he has half of Michael's championships. LOL. Maybe he adds another one or two before he is done.  Brady pretty much stands alone with his achievements but for sure he was helped by the org he played for. He is the classic example of doing more with more and at times doing more with less.
    • Brady's longevity is impressive so like LeBron his overall stats will be inflated, at their peak Manning was better statistically most years aside from Brady's 2007 season. Just like Jordan was better at his peak but LeBron will score more points, etc.. Brady will always be considered the GOAT by most because he has 6 wins to Manning's 2 but Brady has always had the superior Coach, Dungy was great but not on BB's level and everyone knows it. Manning won 5 League MVP's for a reason, he was like a Coach on the field. BB feared him and him only. Nobody else scared him on the 53 man roster  .
    • For sure. Brady has really put up unbelievable stats throughout his career with easily the worst set of skill positions of any great QB. Elway was similar in my view which is why I would take either one to start my team. I remember thinking 10 years ago that there was no way Brady would ever catch Manning statistically. He was 15,000 yards behind him and more than 100 TDs and playing in frigid Foxboro. But the guy literally just never stopped. He kept going and producing in his late 30s and early 40s to pass him. That might have been his biggest feat aside from the SB wins.
