No.  But it did make me wonder why coaches don't say "stick to him like corn on the cob" rather than "like white on rice" and its racial undertones.

I hope an NFC North team drafts Corn Elder, so they can put him on Randall Cobb and the commentators can make that joke.

THAT is definitely funny!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, we officially now have Corn on the Cobb on the field here. Even better, make him a Detroit Lions player playing on Thanksgiving!!! Just perfect!!!

Lol. That is not as bad as Butt fumble jokes for the team that drafts Jake Butt.

Despite that, I would not mind if the Vikes drafted him.

Yeah, I never even thought how the butt fumble could shift from the Sanchize to Jake Butt. That would be funny now that you mention it. I am sure Harbaugh must have drilled it into his head "do not fumble, you know what you are setting yourself up for...". :)

The butt fumble would be complete and have a first name lol!

Hate to say it but Jake Butt sounds like a "Patriots type of player" in the "do your job" mold. He will block his butt off (pun intended), come to play every down and catch TDs in the end zone.

He is probably a 1st round talent, but unfortunately he's hurt. I could see the Pats drafting him in the 4th and making him the new hernandez to gronk all over again. I would take him if we had another compensatory pick or less holes, but we need to fill our own holes, and TE isn't close one of them.

Sorry I couldn't sign up for this game. Had some stuff to take care of lately. Just now having some free time to visit the forum.

I am sure some kind soul would volunteer to do another mock draft after the combine. :)

I think we should all get together and do one again after free agency dies down a bit. Maybe a couple weeks before the draft? That way we can do one after we know what the roster looks like. That being said I wouldnt necessarily be against doing one after the combine as well. haha

Seriously though, thanks for putting up with all of this. This is the first one of these Ive been a part of and its been a lot of fun. Its got me watching more tape, and learning a bit more about scouting defensive players.

Agree.

When @WarGhost21 brings up that U.Conn safety in round 2, you notice. When @danlhart87 drafts a small school guy from Villanova like Kpassagnon, you notice. We all contribute to each other's radar and wealth of knowledge.

We just need to let the mock draft fatigue die down a bit after this elaborate mock draft with 4 rounds. Having 32 different GMs is the way to go because no 2 GMs see eye-to-eye on everything.

I did not receive the notification; otherwise, I would have made my selection sooner.

With the 122nd pick, the Vikings select Malachi Dupre, WR, LSU

@MPStack and the Ravens are on the clock.

Oops, sorry. Spaces make the world go round and make a world of difference. :)

No worries. I just happened to check to see where we were in the draft and I noticed that I had been on the clock for 50 minutes.

My head is spinning trying to keep everything straight. It is like I can see the finish line and my attention to detail is slipping. :)

Loving my Panthers team

I like it too. I love Kamara -- I hope the Vikes draft him. The last guy from the Nova Wildcats is intriguing.

I think if/when we do another one, we should try and find a few people to split the work a bit. Get a few people to run 1 round each so that it isnt all thrown on one person, only takes a day or 2 for a round rather than a week or more trying to keep everything together.

With the 126th pick, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select:

Shelton Gibson, WR, Western Michigan

This kid is fast. Not just quick fast, but blazing fast. He's projected to be one of the fastest at this years combine, and with the Bucs looking for a deep threat to pair with Mike Evans, he is the perfect fit. While I was originally looking at other players here, and never once looked at Gibson, I ended up being happier with him than I would have been with the other's I'd looked at.
