Rhodes, Hagler, and Francisco are not on the roster. Or are you predicting a resigning?

I dig most of it. Personally, I have Darren Evans and Chad Spann both making it in place of James and Rhodes. I think Spann has some KR potential (and upside as a halfback) and Evans is the kind of downhill runner one-cut runner that usually plays well in zone schemes (not to mention he's a solid pass blocker). If it's just one of them, I think it'll be Evans, but I'm more than willing to have Spann prove me wrong.

Look very closely, they're there.

No James, no Rhodes, it's possibility, but not likely to happen. Now everything else seemed good...except linebackers. Where's Hagler, Wheeler, and Conner? We also only need 4 safeties. Oh and where's Chris Rucker...

no no, I'm talking about my depth chart, I haven't seen the Official Colts one.

The point is you have players on your depth chart that are not in camp, specifically Francisco & Rhodes. Are you suggesting that both will make the roster?

5 RBs? Especially since one is no longer on the roster. A LB who is no longer on the roster backing up two positions? A DE no longer on the roster and a DT who probably won't make the final 53 as a starter.

Plus, I don't think Smith is eligible for the practice squad. He has accrued three seasons already (2008, 2009 and 2010.)

Don't you dare bring facts into an Andy fantasy thread!

We are not going to carry 5 running backs on our roster. At most we will carry four and I suspect we will just carry JA, Brown, and Carter.

Painter is going to get the nod over Orlovsky. It is the same reason why Sorgi made it year in and year out. He knows the system and the coaching staff and FO rather stick with a guy who knows the system then the guy who doesn't, but might have more skill. We sure are not going to keep three QBs.

Why does everyone keep putting Lacey as the starter? Tryon showed to be a much better player then Lacey last year. It will be Powers and Tryon starting and Lacey in the nickel.

I still think Painter makes the cut over Orlovsky. He's been in the system and reportedly looks pretty good so far in camp.

Franscisco was let go. I bet Lefeged takes his place.

This. We seriously want a guy with the field presence to run out of the back of the end zone for a safety over Painter?

Rhodes is gone, I could see them bringing him back if we lose one of our top two.

Francisco, while his knowledge of the game seems good, is slower than all of our linebackers. While he has contributed over the past couple seasons, I do not want to see if in camp as I would much prefer the time being given to a young rookie and give the kid a chance to prove himself worthy of the spot behind Bullit.

So, J. Anderson DE/DT doesn't make the team? I think this very unlikely unless he gets hurt. I think the absence of a long, active DL presence (Raheem Brock) was really missed last year.Brock was a fantastic situational player, and a big reason for some play making success on the DL before he left for a very nice payday in Denver. Anderson is certainly a huge talent, and will be asked to fill the Raheem Brock role that was missing last year. If he stays healthy, I think he is going to be a big part of the 2011 defense. Also, no way Harris starts in front of Moala. No way.
