Osweiler is the new Byron Leftwich

Brock is pretty Bad, cant say it enough. Houston has a Great Defense and Good RB in Miller but will still never go deep in the Playoffs with him. Deep as in Final 4. Tonight's game was over before it started. I think the Pats would've won the game tonight even had Jimmy G played instead of Brady that is how Bad Brock is. Him beating us twice is embarrassing actually.

Brock's too timid. His receivers will literally be open and he'll hesitate to deliver the football. It's frustrating as hell to watch him and I'm a Colts fan for gods sake.

They have to redo his throwing motion..

Hs wind u not only lets passes be defklected..it allows defensive bacs time to close on the receivers..

he' s always  been a project...its just that it came time to either pay him or let him go.

Houston paid him and now he;s their project

Leftwich> Brock

Hah, yeah at least BL had some solid play.....sometimes.  Brock just completely took a crap, throwing mutiple INTs some on some well protected plays by the OL.

Yet Brady plays like absolute DOG&;@@/&;  and they still win handedly.

Patriots are a complete team and can beat you in so many ways. Even when Brady has on off game they usually still win because they have a Good Defense and BB figures out a way to run the ball effectively. Also they use SPTeams a lot to beat teams, like tonight with a 98 Yard kickoff return. I don't see them ever not winning at least 10 games in a season until BB leaves.

Yeah they're just a phenomenal team.  Their culture is purely about winning it doesn't matter.  A loss is unacceptable, devastating, ect.  I hate them, but it's sure as heck true.

Man, with that wind up of his, he is the new Byron Leftwich of our division, just an overpaid one.

Just wish Freeney or Mathis in their prime had a chance to go at him.

i just can't believe how we lost to him twice :(

Tells you how garbage our defense is. We make RB's and QB's look like Pro Bowlers on a near weekly basis.

So what was Brock's selling point anyway? Handing the Patriots their first loss of the season last year?

Maybe the HOU ownership saw it that way. The real reason the Patriots lost was the Denver defense handing the Bronco offense points on a platter. (Like most games both this year and last.)

DEN's offense, like HOU, could not sustain much less FINISH a drive to save their lives.  DEN with Peyton two years ago could at least move the football down field sometimes, even if they usually fell on their faces at the end of it.

I went to bed after tom Brady marched down the field in the opening of the second half last night. He in no way can lead a team. You have to be able to score TDs. So much for "defense wins championships"... and I thought that debate was over vs the bears in SB XLI. I guess some people will never learn.

Kind of like making the sexy pick on RB when you don't have a proven oline. All I can do is

Sometimes he throws like Tim Tebow with that windup.

Just the fact that he is much taller like Leftwich and has that wind up is why I compared Osweiler to him. The point of release, other than the wind up looks awkward as well.

It's cringe worthy. I actually feel for the Texans fans.

They longingly look for a QB like ours, whilst we longingly look for a defense like theirs.

    • I Respectfully disagree.  I do agree that Shane is trying to win games.   What I don’t agree on is that he’s using AR to his full advantage to do so.  It may be injury concern, or that he feels AR isn’t quite back to 100% from surgery.  But he’s not using him like he did last season.    I’m not saying it’s wrong, and I hope it’s for the best.  But I think ARs development is more important to the franchise than winning right now.   I gave the example of Daniels.  They’re letting him run, it definitely helps them to stay in games.  That may not be a smart strategy if he ends up like RGknee, but you can see they’re trying to win now.
    • To use an off season surgery as an excuse is bollocks....    He needs to step up his game and start performing. In many ways he honestly looks like one of the 5 worst QB´s in the league and again, to use a shoulder surgery as an excuse is just pure bollocks.   There simply is no development in his game, and his huge upside is what? tell me?    I don´t think one second that we will ever come close to winning anything with him as our QB.   and to make things worse read this: https://www.espn.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=pasquarelli_len&id=2176813
    • And yet, PFF didn't grade him all that high last year.  My response to this is that the scheme is designed for the MLB and the SS to make most of the tackles.  And they do. But last year, Franklin allowed a 77% completion rate with 10.2 yards per completion, and 7.9 yards per target.  In summary, he makes a lot of tackles by scheme, but he also allows a lot of completions. I don't think of him a Great.  Or even Good.  He's Fair.   https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FranZa00.htm
    • Probably still won’t shut people up lol. But that is interesting  We are 3 games in after a shoulder surgery. What are you talking about.
    • Every bottom feeder team has a good player or two. Are the colts a bottom feeder? At times they play like it.    the “forum GMs” as you call them, don’t dislike when a player does well. They just hate when the team sucks. There’s nothing wrong with that. And no one here says some of the Colts players aren’t good players.    the Colts stunk it up pretty bad in the first two weeks, lost game one again a stat that we have held for over a decade. In must win games, the colts perform exceptionally awful with a mind boggling level of consistency under this regime.    the good players that the Colts have tend to also not show up in those games and make any game changing plays.    ok so Franklin can tackle. So what? Yeah the forum GMs are shaking with rage because of that!
